The last film you saw

Oh my god I REALLY want to see District 9. It looks amazing. Maybe I'll see it tomorrow and sneak in with a friend. (Don't worry, I'll pay for a different ticket and THEN sneak in lol)

Just got back from The Time Traveller's Wife. Beautifully shot, brilliantly scripted, *apparently* stayed exactly true to the book. I made a point of not reading the book because everyone had said how good it was and I wanted to actually watch a good film without knowing the ending. It was fantastic. Well worth watching.

Great movie, and siriously underrated.. Probably rated by poepple who only saw the story and didn't saw the movie..
Only I didn't liked the ending, who wants to see a tragic ending in a movie like that?

Is that the one which was rechristened "Sword of Xanten"?

And my last-watched film was Les Vampyres: the Feuillade 1916 serial - not the porno!

District 9. It was a good film but the amount of action seemed overdone by the end. But for a $30 million budget they did a fantastic job with the special effects.

An American Crime. Hands down the most depressing movie i've ever watched.

If you haven't lost any faith in humanity by the end, you're one tough motherfucker.

Primer. All I can say is what the FUCK? It has to be one of the most confusing movies I've ever seen. It's all about these dudes accidentally making a time machine and then facing the repercussions of their doubles fucking with shit after they come out of the machines.

Stargate. (The original 1994 film, not the series).

Best sci fi film ever. Absolutely fantasmic. For one thing, the aliens do not speak English ogod ogod ogod

I've just come back from Harry Potter.

The cinematography was amazing. I mean, the best I've ever seen in a Hollywood movie, hands down beating all the other HP films. There were some funny moments with impeccable delivery... but beyond that: Meh.

I saw District-9 today!

It was AWE. SOME! I loved how they made it into a documentary as if it were a real thing, and the originality of the movie was great.

This is correct. I was surprised by this too. Except for the first two scenes in which they attack the milennium bridge and diagon alley. Even though those are both attacks, and both begin at the clouds, they're just two seperate sequences. other than that it was ace.

The scene with the fire was epic and lotr-like

Rewatched Monty Python and the Holy Grail for probably the 50th time last night. Fantastic film, anyone who says otherwise is a wet trout. Absolutely brilliant.

Piff. Sod the [awesome] Dumbledore-proves-how-powerful-he-is scene, the skull appearing out of the sky over London was EPIC. Sent chills right down my spine.

Donnie Darko. Wow. Craziest movie I've seen in a long time, probably ever.

So what do you think the story was about?

(If four people get involved in this debate, we're likely to produce five different interpretations!)
