The last film you saw

Mulholland Drive. I was...erm, puzzled. It's supposed to be a masterpiece, I get it, and it had its merits, but its 2 hours and a half, split in 2 hours of nonsense and 30 minutes of "making sense". So it was good, but too long; the nonsensical part wasn't good enough in its own, imo.

The Pursuit of Happyness. It was really good!

wow you've just joined the exclusive club of 14 people who've seen it

idk why nobody has seen it. it really tugs at your heart strings the whole time while keeping this really weird half-amused, half-optimistic feeling. i dont usually cry at anything but that scene in the subway station bathroom had me nearly bawling. though idk maybe it speaks more strongly to people who've actually been that poor because it was spot-on in a lot of ways.

@moog: i agree that was a good ass movie. esp. the grandpa scenes.

The Big Lebowski. Probably the funniest movie I've seen in a LONG ass time.

a lot of people love the shit out of this movie and i dont get it. i mean it was lightly amusing to me but fell flat IMO most of the time. i guess it's just appealing to a diff sense of humor.

I liked it, especially because it was based on a true story. But I digress, I really liked it mostly because of Will Smith who is one of my favorite actors and the only person able to open a blockbuster film during the week of July 4.

Awesome Bro

Okay get ready for the first good film on this page;

Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny

I don't care how bad the reviews were, I don't care if people dislike it, I fucking LOVE it.

will smith is my guilty pleasure ... i usually detest a-list or extremely well-known actors but he's one of the few who will make even hollywood drivel palatable for me. him, samuel l. jackson, kevin spacey, and anthony hopkins. and, to a lesser extent, bruce willis.

plus he's the hottest black man alive IMO

I really find it hard to watch movies when I see popular actors in them. It's hard for be to see the character. I usually see the actor portraying the character. It became especially apparent when I saw Kevin Spacey as Ron Klain in Recount. Ron Klain looks nothing like Kevin Spacey, so all I saw was prot, or Lex Luthor, or Eugene Simonet. I definitely didn't see Ron Klain.

Sweet.

I don't suppose afterwards we could play the part where Sephiroth dies too (Well, in his gay little way...) could we ? Cause I hate him too... the fag.
