Brilliant film. As good as Python (well, it's got Cleese and Palin in so it would be :kiss: ).

I recommend watching it; I picked it up in Morrisons for £2!

I just watched Nine, it was pretty good, not what i expected it to be like

Law Abiding Citizen.

It could have been exceptional. The writer screwed up the ending so bad though.

Jamie Foxx's acting was pretty terrible. His character didn't learn anything and was still a douche at the end of the film.

Overall, the movie had some poor points, but the higher points kept it going. I would have loved it if the ending wasn't so poor. You could tell that the writer had no idea how to end it and just took the stereotypical easy way out. There were various ways the writer could have ended it and any way would have been better. I guess they just wanted to play it safe.

It's worth a rent if you have nothing else to watch I guess.

just saw up. it was a good movie that was really funny, but the bits about his wife were sad and I actually cried when he finally saw what was past the "stuff im gonna do" page. I dont ever remember crying during a movie before. not even when jack died in Titanic.

i just finished watching The Prestige, great, GREAT movie. How come it wasnt nominated for anything?!?!

The Prestige was fantastic; it didn't get nommed because another magic film was out at exactly the same time. Didn't see the nother nor can I care to remember what it was called.

yeah man i HATE hugh jackman but man he was great. Christian bale is nuts but man he did an outstanding job as well.

and thats gay fuck whatever movie was out, that movie deserved multiple noms in acting and direction.

the other magic movie was the Illusionist with Jessica Biel and Edward Norton. I saw both and they were both great.

though the illusionist was more about story than the prestige, which focused on the effects and something that cannot be true. the prestige was very good.

Ven and I watched Funny People while we ate Thanksgiving dinner. It was great. Not as good as 40 year old virgin but still a great Judd Apatow film.

Yeah it was more serious and in depth, a huge WHAT A TWIST from his usual directorial efforts but nonetheless enjoyable.

Inglorious Basterds. Good old Nazi-balls-shooting, machine-gun-disintegration fun. Recommended if you like Tarentino movies.

Lol Inglorious Basters is a REALLY good film, unless you hate subtitles, then it sucks... cause, well... it's full of 'em, but damn it's a good film nonetheless...

The last film I saw, was actually... 5 hours ago I watched Saw 6 in the living room (Arrrrgh)

My impressions...

The first "game" was meh, pretty funky, not what I was expecting, it could've been much MUCH better, but it still made me drool (... wait, what ?!)

I think as the story has been going along, it's been getting weaker, I mean, they're running out of ideas, and each film has a noticeably drop in the writing, with the "twist at the end" being easier to guess within the first 20 minutes of the film...

Either way, overall I thought it was pretty good, didn't really answer any questions from the last film, except maybe the box... and I've gotta' say one last "Ouch that's gotta hurt" at the ending with Hoffman...

I speak French, English and some German, so all in all subtitles didn't bother me too much. On a side note, the translation in all languages was very fucking well done. Good job to whoever did it.
