Well I watched Monty Python's Life of Brian last night for the god knows how many time, lol...

But I didn't quite fall to sleep, so I put on Donnie Darko (Funnily it's been mentioned on this page too, but it's the truth, it's also one of my favourite films of all time, lol)

Both films are really REALLY great...

Donnie Darko two days ago and Life of Brian last night.


I'm torn between Life of Brian and Holy Grail as my favourite Python films. Meaning of Life was good, but not good enough. "And now for something completely different" is fantastic, and well worth watching, but I'm not sure a cinema-released sketch show compliation counts as a film?

the happening is shit
some time ago i saw the beginning of that movie, a scene in which people kill themselves in an artsy way, they jump off of a building in slo-mo. this made me watch the whole movie, and realise it was really shitty.

also mark wahlberg (that matt damon lookalike) is a shitty actor (in most of his movies)

Watched District 9 last night, great stuff. I never really read or saw any trailers to this, so I didn't know what to expect. Interesting twist on the alien genre. For once, we're the oppressors. They tried to do a Cloverfield kind of style of covering events in the movie here, with the news and surveillance clips, and everything, but couldn't really keep it up the whole movie. Not so much a problem for me, since watching people explode into itty-bitty pieces of meat kept me happy.

Just watched The Mask (again). Haven't seen it since 1994... and man, that's a good film. Jim Carey at his absolute best. Didn't get a lot of it the first time (understandably).

Wouldn't even attempt to; it's too classic. I think the only sequel that worked was Ghostbusters 2.

I've been running through the Nightmare on Elm Street series lately. I'm on "Dream Master" right now.

Well last night I watched District 9 (Got it on a really good copy, lol), and I must say, it's a REALLY great film, I love how it seems like a documentary, but just the overall concept of it, I mean usually, if you see an alien spaceship hovering over the earth, it's come to blow us up or abduct us, but this is completely the opposite, and the humans actually have order over the aliens... So yeah, it's a top film, although the effects could have been better, but it doesn't matter, since for what they are, they're great.

Just watched "Bender's Game" in one go from Sky One. It's technically a film I guess but like they split it into episodes.

God knows what they were smoking but fucking bitchfuck I want me some.

Lol I hate how they split the films into like 3/4 parts and call them "brand new episodes", it's annoying, although I've got all the films on DVD anyways, yay me. And yeah it does still count as a film, and a good one at that.

Just watched "The Thirteenth Floor". Apart from it being an obvious ripoff of The Matrix (or the other way round), it was actually a good movie. Didn't have any "big names" to get distracted by, either, unlike other films.
