What games are you currently playing?

I've been playing 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors and the sequel Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. They are visual novels/room escape hybrid games. I played Virtue's Last Reward and found it amazing before taking myself to play the first game. I'm near the end now and I realised that Virtue's Last Reward would have been even more mind-blowing if I'd played the first game first. Has anyone else played the game? It's just too awesome right??

I'm very much enjoying the free weekend of Dino D-Day on Steam. This game may very well be the best game ever created by mankind

Injustice: Gods Among Us had a shitty campaign :/ Teen-rated game masquerading around with an M-rating.

Whoever wrote that plot should be ashamed. I'd say it felt rushed if it wasn't long and full of pointless filler fights.

So after playing Bioshock Infinite, i suckered up and played through Bioshock 1 and 2. While they all had entertaining moments, I think I'd rank them probably something along the lines of:

Bioshock Infinite > Bioshock > Bioshock 2

Bioshock Infinite was just neat, and I really dug the story (although one could argue you could sorta' see it coming.) I also immensely enjoyed the first Bioshock, but Vennie you were right, after playing Infinite, there was some slog through the middle of the game. I have to say, however, I did enjoy the story a little better (if not equally) to Infinite. Bioshock 2 was fun in the sense that the gameplay felt much tighter and refined (as one would hope for in any sequel game) but the story definitely fell flat and the whole playing as a big daddy (spoiler?) gimmick while interesting, was never explored as deeply as I would have liked. Still, fun games, 'specially since I bought the first 2 for like $7 each online.

Oh yeah definitely, I had purchased Bioshock 1 and 2 for cheap months ago before I got Infinite

Last night on my night shift, I had nothing to do, so I turned my phone into a mobile hot spot (... A router), and used it to go online on my 3DS, playing Mario Kart 7 with three other British guys, an Italian guy and a German guy... and two Swedish guys, pretty funny playing balloon battle, lol.

Just started Fire Emblem: Awakening

Nice visuals, very nice use of 3D

But downright terrible character creation, holy fuck those guys all like like girls. Damn JRPG's when will you learn.

EDIT: Reminds me to NEVER, EVER play a Jrpg for its story. Omg the characters in this game are retardedly bad, almost as if they actually tried to make them as offencively stupid and stereotype as possible. Actually scrap that, i'm sure they did it on purpose.

Visuals are still nice for a 3ds though.

Yeah, Sleeping Dogs was really fun, I never finished it, but come on... how many people actually finish open world free roam games these days? A very small percentage, and I'm definitely not part of that percentage.

Borderlands 1. level 27 or so. Trying to finish it before starting borderlands 2

If
IF I finish this game
it would be the very first diablo style loot based arpg I've ever finished.

I just....They're really fun and all, but it's so annoying to finish. I grind through and do stuff for a while, before a massive feeling of repetitiveness sinks in. It's not like I don't like it, but I never find motivation to OPEN the game and play it. I do play it for an hour or two on end when I do open it.

Path of Exile I.... sorta? Finished - I finished the first of three difficulities, which is all the story they have now in Open Beta. But I'm not even close to end game, not even close.

Fun genre, and I follow the genre very closely, paricularly trying out most games in the genre, but I can never finish any.

I've also never *really* finished a roguelike, but mainly cause I always die. *shrugs*, I had fun.

Got on a bit of a kick and played all the old PSone Twisted Metal games. Always did like those. So then I picked up Twisted Metal for ps3. The combat and skirmishes are good. Can't say that for the boss fights, They look really nice, but they are not designed well at all. Specifically the fight with Doll face and the final Sweet tooth's carnival of carnage. Once is all I've ever play those levels.

The only reason I didn't bother with Twisted Metal on PS3 is because they censored the EU version... yeah I could import it from US, but that would be supporting them, and I don't support developers that censor, or mess, my version game.

Anybody frequent Team Fortress 2 anymore? I've fallen back in love with that game after today but none of my usual friends are up for it.

If you care I'm generally Scout.
