I'm playing Persona 4 Golden on the Vita I got for my birthday. Persona games are always very hard to put down.
To be fair I'd probably group the descent into Midgar and the collapse of Shinra as an organisation into the ending too, as they tie off those storylines, and it's a fitting end to the game (you spend the start in Midgar, in slums and urbanity, leave it for lush green expanses of the world to see what's being lost by Mako generation, and then return to the city to watch it crumble).conchshell":znia8xgy said:Ff7s ending starts kinda when you get to the crater. I wouldn't really consider the end cutscenes the actual ending because its more of an addition to what's already happening. Everyone fuckin raged over it and I don't see why. If you pay attention to the story, it makes sense. It wasn't intended to be a happy ending; meteor was fuckin falling no matter what. The world got fucked up but later got restored to its lush areas in the future. It's also VERY short which is why a lot of people didn't like it as well. IMO ffac ruined the fuck out of ff7 (faggots who say omg cloud wuz emo lol obv didn't pay attention to ff7 at all, you can tell these are the ones who just watched that gay ass movie).

One of the best scenes in the game is the player characters watching two sides fight one another, and neither of them is the main villain at all (Shinra vs Weapon). Made even better by the fact Weapon is actually the planet defending itself. The attention they put into things outside of the main track is outstanding, and probably why the Sephiroth ending is so surprisingly short, it's just a small part of the whole game.
