The Prestige; a fantastic film but nobody else seemed to like it at all.

Are you joking? That film is bloody amazing, lol. Loved the whole idea behind it, good ol' plot twist was well done.

yeah prestige is fucking amazing, so is kings speech, i frickin love geoff rush

I saw The Rite and Sanctum. The rite was epic balls, but anthony hopkins was excellent. the other cast was pretty shit though. Sanctum was really good imo, except the script was a tad weak. The cinematography is amazing, and the story paces pretty well. Its not AMAZING and cast is decent at best but its very realistic and keeps you on your toes

oh shit yeah an 127 hours, saw that shit too, it was FUCKING GREAT, james franco deserves an oscar but we all know colin firth is gonna get that shit.

Lol I quite liked 127 hours, and yeah, James Franco definitely deserves something for it, he was great, lol.

I watched The Green Hornet last week, it was REALLY great, seriously, I love Seth Rogen as an actor, but he's always some sort of pot head, but in this film, he actually played the role very well, loved every second of the film.

I watched Jackass 3D earlier today, oh my lord I've never laughed so hard... ever, it was absolutely brilliant, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to see people doing stupid stuff... oh god.

i saw tangled yesterday
my hopes weren't high, because the trailer was lame and it's another 'classic' so it had to fail
it was very very very much better than expected though
the story was cool, and the animation was even more fluid then ever

the hair was seriously well done. although not on the main character, whose hair it was about
there was this evil mother persona which had the most amazing hair ever modelled.

anyway, seriously cool, and very disney-worthy

i just watched TRON too, it was amazing!
hopes weren't high for this one either because it had been hyped like crazy,
but while the story could've been better (they don't really go in-depth about stuff),
they made good use of metaphors, and a lot of the time i found myself wondering about
how the programming would look if it wasn't real life

of course the graphics and the music made up for the lack of story, they REALLY did
seriously, the graphics were ground-breaking.

(one of the main characters is a rendered figure)
(and it was just slightly visible)

holy shit tomas i saw tangled last night

and yeah it was seriously really good, it was really funny and the dialogue was ace

the music was also superb, and the animation did not dissapoint. i thought the story moved a bit too fast tho

Star Trek Nemesis. Shit the second time around too. But that means next up is new trek, and then we'll watch galaxy quest! Wooh! That's... nine weeks of trek films so far!

It's actually weird that you say Rango too, because I just checked my facefuck and there's a new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, lol... going to see that

just got back from watching SuckerPunch. it was a beautiful movie directed by Zack Snyder (the guy who did 300 and Watchmen), and had an engrossing story (once i stopped trying to analyze it). the soundtrack was a lot of arrangements of classic songs like Sweet Dreams, White Rabbit, and We Will Rock You, as well as some original compositions that all worked together rather nicely.
