The last film you saw

just got back from watching SuckerPunch. it was a beautiful movie directed by Zack Snyder (the guy who did 300 and Watchmen), and had an engrossing story (once i stopped trying to analyze it). the soundtrack was a lot of arrangements of classic songs like Sweet Dreams, White Rabbit, and We Will Rock You, as well as some original compositions that all worked together rather nicely.

SuckerPunch is being hailed as being so bad of a movie, that it set the bar for bad movies. I can not fucking wait to see it.

I saw PAUL last night. It was cute, and some of the scifi movie throw-backs were funny, but it wasn't worth the price of admission. Worth a DVD rental or a NetFlix rental but not worth a theatre-stop.

Also Sigourney Weaver is looking so old :(

just watched a movie called Lo

It's a horror-comedy hybrid about a guy who summons a demon that talks a lot of shit. It's actually really funny and well written.

I saw it and let me tell you it was TOTAL SHIT. I didnt even watch the whole thing. my friend asked me to see it because he had no one to see it with (i knew it was going to be terrible before hand) but yeah i had heard the general reviews before hand and didnt think it would be that bad.

but FUCK

so boring. so BORING

this one quote sums the movie up

Sucker Punch is Last Airbender with bustiers

we watched Your Highness last night at a midnight showing.

sweet lord it was awful. but very funny if you laugh at penises & cursing

we went fairly drunk. i recommend that.

but it is a good & unique lowbrow comedy

the people on rotten tomatoes hate it ... but their comments seem to convey that they were expecting a work of art or something. in the trailers, they made it fairly obvious what the movie would be delivering (and did)

Eden Lake

One things for sure, the british know how to make horror movies.. (Dog soldiers, the descent)
But man, this movie leaves you with a weird feeling.. A angry feeling :/ (except for couple of things this movie felt too realistic..)

Pretty weird if I look at the scores it gets, critics praise it to heaven, while the normall audience seems to hate it..

"Its just children" Well thats a sentence you'll think about after seeing this movie..
9/10

I saw Blitz the other day, in theater; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1297919/
Me and a couple of friends usually go to all Jason Statham's films, just because it's jason statham.
He is guarantee for solid action and great punchlines.

Well this was the most shitty movie I've seen in a while.
At some point we were even discussing whether to stay or to leave the cinema.

I mean, the story didnt move on, nor was there action, and the punchlines really sucked.
The dialog was bad too, some things were too predictable, other lines were just too far out there.
And there was a plotline that was really unnecessary.

Anyway, there were some good things too.
There were a couple of murders in the film, but they were not so typically shot as you usually see.
More gruesome and terrible, good for the impact on the viewer.

Also the part of the bad guy was played by Aidan Gillen, who did a really good job.

C.S.A: Confederate States of America

It's sort of like a documentary of an alternate timeline where the South wins the Civil War. It was sort of funny at times (it's meant to be presented somewhat humorously), but for the most part it followed the annoying stereotype that all southerners are racist, horrible people.

also sucker punch was fucking amazing

I didnt even watch the whole thing.

that's your problem right there. at one point towards the end the narative ZOOMS BACK OUT and you realize that the entire story was her final thoughts before becoming lobotomized.

also even if you totally ignore the story it's ridiculously fun. the action scenes are so tremendously over the top and exciting and VISUALLY STIMULATING and if you didn't like it then you weren't going to like the movie but the movie delivers what it promises and it delivers it well.

I watched Treasure Planet again the other day. It's not Disney's greatest film but totally underrated imo. It's probably better than a large chunk of Disney movies, and never gets enough credit. The animation and visuals alone are worth it.

The story and characters aren't really strong but the climactic scene is one of my favourite animated scenes.

Dinoshark. It's the sequel to Dinocroc, and comes before Dinocroc vs Supergator.

B-movies.

Yes. Hmm.

Well, some B-movies are legitimately good.

This wasn't one of them. ugh.
