Some people have accused me of circular logic, and have repeatedly demanded "evidence". You demand some "mythical evidence" that will prove without a doubt and make you believe. This is circular logic in it's finest form because while your argument sounds logical, it is false. You claim, because I have not provided "the evidence YOU want to see", therefore I have not proven anything.

My response has been, there is no such mythical evidence. There is already sufficient evidence in History of this nation that White privilege is the source of all the inequities among races, and these inequities are not just financial in nature. If you cannot believe in the historical evidence that links Political representation with Financial, Social FREEDOMS, then you are blind.

Since America is 65% White, just being born white represents a huge privilege that Minorities cannot enjoy simply because Whites are in power, and those in power, ALWAYS represent themeslves FIRST.

In every election, what is the first question voters ask?

Which candidate will best represent MY needs, and look out for ME.

This is the HEART of democracy. That our elected officials represent the will of the people. And who makes up most of the population of the USA? Whites.


Therefore, in this subject of White Privilege, it is indisputable that #1. White privilege exists in the form of White majority rule, and #2 White privilege is the root cause of all the social, economical, political Disparities between races for the simple reason that it is human nature that those that rule, will benefit the most.


Anyone who tries to argue against this LOGIC, not circular logic but LOGIC, is in denial. Most of you are Whites, and have argued ferociously against this, demanding "mythical evidence". You try to assign blame onto BLACKS and Minorities for the inequities among races. It's the Black people's fault! They're lazy! They're dumb! Then Whites hypocritically point to Asians as the "Model Minority" as some kind of "evidence" that it is indeed Black people's fault.

This is also Circular LOGIC. Because Asians are Model Minorities, there is nothing wrong with America. Nothing wrong with us Whites, and how we've ruled. Therefore, Blacks are at fault. The reverse: Blacks are to be blamed for their poverty because look at Asians! They're model minorities! Is this not Circular Logic at it's finest?

With all due respect, sir, there is a very likely chance we will have an African American president elected this year. Over 210 democrats of congress/governors/etc have pledged their support as superdelegates for Obama over Hillary Clinton.

The phrase quoted above is very divisive. Those in power do not always represent themselves. Your "logic" assumes this when it is not true.

Also, I agree 100% with Dissonance about what you have labeled as "circular logic." Him asking for evidence for statements that you claim to be true is not circular logic. You have turned some of your statements into a scientific discussion about the correlation with politics and race. If you want to start talking statistics, you will also need to prove your data. If you cannot prove your data, then your data is irrelevant in this discussion. This is not small talk, this is a serious debate. If you make claims of information you call fact, you need to back them up with substance.

Why do you think that Educational funding is not equal among all districts? Let's think about that. Education is the most important development for a child. This is why as soon as children are born, they enter into public school. This is mandatory until high school ends. So from ages 4 to 18, children must attend public school. This is a fundamental right for without proper education, children will not grow up with all the tools and training to become successful adults.

Why then is Public School funding not equal to all districts regardless of income level? Shouldn't Education be EQUAL to all Children in the United states regardless of Family Income? The reason is Whites know that Blacks mostly reside in poorer districts, and a poorly educated Black child means less future competition for superior educated White children. This is an example of Demonstratively using the POWER of Majority Rule to achieve White Privilege even in the area of Education. Keep Black children illiterate, and unskilled so that Black children grow up unqualified for Good jobs.

Some well intentioned Whites created the idea of Affirmative Action, which is a poor attempt to mask out White racism by ignoring the ROOT problem: which is UNEQUAL Educational funding in the form disparities between Poor Districts ( mostly blacks ) and Rich districts ( mostly White ).

I'm not an Educator so I would not know if such disparities exist today. But I believe they still do.

You're the one who misunderstood my words. I said from the beginning that those who are in power, ALWAYS represents their constituents FIRST. That is DEMOCRACY. An Elected Politican does not represent himself personally, but his constitutents.

Because the evidence is well known, common public knowledge. I don't have to provide to you evidence that is already well recognized and accepted.  It's like asking, Show me evidence the Sky is blue. Duh, everyone knows the sky is blue.

I am not a racist, nor am I being racist. Nor did I label you as a "typical White person". I merely stated that personal stories have no place in this discussion because personal sob stories are biased opinions.

What I did was to note this strange pattern that is exhibited in this very thread! That several posters who happen to be White, have used their PERSONAL experiences as arguments, denying in the existence of White Privilege, and even after admitting it exists, denying it has any relevance. Personal life stories have no relevance, and shouldn't even be offered.

Rmxp_dev, you are very close to being banned.

If you say something is a fact, prove it if you can.  Show a source.  If you can't find a source, that's fine as long as you present it as your opinion.  Saying someone is an idiot for not seeing things the way you do without a convincing argument, including sourced materials, is not going to get you very far.  In fact, chances are it will dampen your arguments.  Also make sure you read your sources properly.  I've made the mistake, as have others, of not doing so and getting bit on the ass for it.
If you represent something as a fact and claim it is backed up by studies or evidence, be prepared to show that evidence.  If you cannot or are not willing to show that evidence, be prepared to drop that portion of your argument.  This will be enforced by forum moderators to prevent back-and-forth circular arguments.
