Currently playing Final Fantasy 13.... I actually beat the game already but I'm going to complete all the missions as well as max out all of my characters. After that I'll probably replay the game again...
Playing Final Fantasy XIII, trying to make some bloody money here on Pulse to upgrade my weapons, I've managed to sell almost everything I'm not using, but then spent most of it upgrading two weapons... it's annoying.
Can't wait till I can kill Adamantoise' and get those ingots they drop... that'll be good money.

look at my strategy, I always use it and the longest the fight took me was 2 minutes. (I fight the one in Leviathan plaza) This always works for me. And with the collector+ connoisseur catalog equipped I had 7 platinum ingots and 3 trapezehydrons in only an hour time!
if you don't have everything I listed go farm some perfumes (right in front edenhall, those sacrefices drop them like crazy).
Leader: Sazh (hyadus magnums, equip some Str+ accesories)
others: Lightning (ultima weapon, equip some str+ acc), Vanille(marlboro wand, equip some int+ acc)
Paradigm:
1) Syn, Com, Sab
2) Rav, Rav, Rav
3) Com, Com, Rav
no need for medics with this method
Phase 1: Summon (start with paradigm 1)
1) Summon brunhilde (this kills the legs INSTANTLY)
2) Caste bravery + Haste on Sazh
3) Switch to paradigm 2
4) use auto battle until you reach about 200% stagger rate
5) use cold blood
6) use cold blood until the summon leaves, DO NOT USE GESTHALT, ELS HE'LL STAND UP AND ALL WAS FOR NOTHING!
7) right before the summon leaves you switch over to paradigm 3 and use auto battle until all party members are back, then switch back to 1
Phase 2: Stagger and buff, debuff
1) buff Lightning with haste + Bravery, and vanille with Haste + faith
2) make sure adamtoise has deprotect on him
3) switch to paradigm 2 and wait until he's staggered (99% of the time its about 2-3 seconds after you switch)
4) use cold blood (this will bring the stagger rate to 999,9%
5) switch to paradigm 3
Phase 3: Kill it before his stagger runs out
1) use blitz 2x (fuck the last bar) over and over until he dies (takes about 5 blitzes)
2) afterwards kill some guards to refill TP and repeat!

I'm also playing FF13, learning the few remaining spheres in the crystarium and getting my ultimate weapons to level 100. :biggrin: after that i'm gonna do some hunts
Hmm, sounds like a good enough strategy, although to be honest, using Vanille + Death sounds easier, just summon her Eidolon, and spam Death, lol...
Got a question, since you've finished it, and I'm only on Chapter 11 (Been grinding as soon as I got onto Pulse, lol, 8 hours... yay), what role would Sazh be best at? Since I have no idea and he seems so mediocre...
At the moment, my party is Hope/Lightning/Snow, because at the moment, Snow is the best Commando and Sentinal due to me levelling up his weapon, I'll switch to Fang though when I get the Taming Pole and upgrade it some, but at the moment, Snow is the best of the best of the best, he can hit 6k normally, while Hope/Lightning hit 2-3k lol...
It's great because if I get a pre-emptive strike on the Behemoth Kings, I can kill 'em in, on average, 22 seconds, which is great since it gives 4k CP.

Because at the moment, I'm playing as Hope, with only 2 accessory slots which I've filled with +MAG items, and Lightning, having 3 slots, is using 2 +MAG items, and the Collectors Catalogue, will I still have a higher chance of getting items? Or do I need to have it equipped to the leader?
