Awesome Bro

Just bought the Joe Danger Mega Bundle from PSN, it's £7.99 and you get both Joe Danger games with all the DLC, and the PS3 version of Joe Danger 2 has 10 hours of exclusive content too, so I'd say I got a pretty nice deal there, should have been £9.99, but there's a 20% discount for Playstation Plus users.

God I do love Playstation Plus, I've got so much free stuff and discounts, I don't get why more people aren't subscribing...

I've also been playing Double Dragon Neon with my brother (Well, this was earlier this week), it's really fucking good to be honest with you, if it didn't come free with Playstation Plus, I'd still pay full price for it!

If you don't play a lot it's not really worth it, I barely have time to finish my normal games, let alone those billion free ones from ps+

fuck i don't even have time to play guild wars 2

Finished Dishonored.
The story was kind of.. meh, but still enjoyable. I was dissapointed about the graphics though, it looks terrible, especially since I'm playing on Xbox instead of PC.
Gameplay was amazing, all in all it was definitely worth the money.

Currently playing through Resistance: Burning Skies... there are a few things I don't like about it, which are mainly small things such as enemies just vanishing into thin air like 2 seconds after you kill them, but overall it's pretty decent, the controls are pretty cool too with the touch screen to throw grenades and tag enemies and such. I don't really get why it got such low scores and why a lot of people are saying bad things about it, especially about the graphics too, they're not exactly on par with Uncharted: Golden Abyss graphics, but they're still good to look at. The story so far has been pretty meh though.

i just bought Dishonored on Steam so I'll see how it plays on PC and let ya'll know ~~~~

the screenshots I've seen from the PC version look quite nice so it's got to be better than the console versions. (well it should, considering my PC is 2x+ more powerful)

So for the last half hour or so I've been playing BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, it's actually VERY good and it's more combo based than the Guilty Gear games, which I really do love because I like getting people into a huge chain combo, and this game has a ton of flashy effects with some of the attacks, so combos can look very nice visually, and the sprite work is gorgeous!

My first time playing a BlazBlue game and it turns out I'm actually fucking ace at it, lol.

A bad gaming habit of mine is to start a ton of games and can't balance my time between them properly so I end up thinking fuck it and never finish them, lol.

Right now I'm in the middle of/games I've not finished after a long time:

- Another run through of Final Fantasy IX
- Tales of Graces f
- Disgaea 4
- Star Ocean: The Last Hope <International>
- Resonance of Fate
- Gravity Rush
- Resistance: Burning Skies (Just started this today though)
- Darksiders
- Borderlands 2
- Final Fantasy XIII-2
- 3D Dot Game Heroes
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
- Starhawk
- Yakuza 3 (I almost finished it when I first got it, but then somehow my save data became corrupt, so I started it again, only about a quarter through it, if that. I've got Yakuza 4 to play after too!)
- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
- Crysis 2 (I refuse to finish this anyway, it's fucking shit, can't believe I paid full price for it)
- Dragon's Dogma
- Dead Island

I know for a fact there's a ton I've missed off there, some of them being fighting games, since I consider them not completed until you've finished the game with all characters and such.

You think so? I actually quite enjoyed what I played... not so much on the PS3 since it looks sort of ugly and has some issues (Probably why I stopped playing it so early, that and the fact that playing it solo is boring as fuck, and the online is laggy as fuck on consoles), but the PC version in co-op with my brother and one of my friends was a blast! (I like how you could still go online with a pirated copy of it, lol) and the gore was pretty cool too, although in terms of zombie gore, I still like Left 4 Dead 2 the best, with Dead Rising 2 being a very close second.

i can SEE why it COULD be fun, so long as you & your friend were just fucking around doing stupid shit. and it was, for about 20min.

but:

- there is like no incentive to do anything story-wise really

- most of the missions are boring as fuck, stupid as hell, or involve just basic gathering quests

- it looks HORRIBLE (jesus CHRIST why is it necessary to use all those bloom effects? oh, right, to cover up the murky textures) (and i play lots of games with shitty graphics but this one's effects were so strong i had to download a hack mod that allowed me to bring it down to a non-retarded pea soup level, just to look around without a migraine -- if a game's graphics HURT YOU PHYSICALLY then they are bad graphics holy shit)

- the movement's head-bob is disgustingly nauseating

- wtf car controls (note i was playing on PC)

- why does nearly everything break so goddamn fast (how in the shiteating titfuck did i break a LEAD PIPE in 8 swings?? is my arm actually a mechanical piston? because i should just punch them if so)

- shitty shit shit console port to PC shitt shitty shit shit port ugh, god damn why is it so hard to implement proper PC controls & depth of field, you MADE IT with a PC

- bugs glitches bugs and glitches

- enemies come back pretty much the exact second you turn around (what is the incentive to kill them then, other than the half-assed level-up system -- it's easier to just run around them)

- why does everything in the world use the same 10 models, they had a face generation tool at their disposal while making it

- why does my character, who is supposedly a badass ex-mercenary or w/e, get winded to the point of exhaustion after like 3 swings

idk though, i think some of it boils down to hype. i was expecting it to be a lot better from the trailers they were putting out, or atleast not just a shitty, brainless mash-up of L4D combined with Borderlands except through the eyes of a retarded kid on LSD. AND i paid full-price for it, which is the other thing that chapped my ass about it.

in other news though, i have started playing Dishonored. Have gotten about 2 hours into it, and am REALLY quite impressed so far.

the way it plays reminds me a lot of Half Life 2, except you can also use ~magic~ (sort of), and there is an emphasis on stealth ala Metal Gear Solid.

I'm trying to do the playthrough where I don't kill a single person ... Feels a lot more fun to me :>

I really can't stand playing games like that, I mean sure, I'll go for stealth, but I kill people, like an Assassin, when I play that sort of game, I NEED to kill people, otherwise it feels so... boring. The only game I've EVER finished without killing a single person, was Metal Gear Solid 4, but that was on my 3rd playthrough, lol.

I went for a stealthy approach as well, though I did kill a few targets every now and then.
And apparently it also affects the outcome of the game. (More deaths= More rats = More plague = More Weepers/Security forces)

There's an achievement for never killing a single person or being seen after the Prison level ... I'm not an achievement whore, but OH ITS GONNA HAPPEN MY FRIEND

but I'll admit, the game gives you ample "rewards" for not stealthing as well. one of the "powers" involves your summoning swarms of rats, which, well:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpoGSCf7HNo
(it's not a spoiler, it just shows what happens when rats decimate people ;x -- they're like fucking piranhas, and can kill & strip a man down to bones & nothing in under 2min)

the first time I saw it I was like "JESUS CHRIST WTF"

there are a bunch of other powers that seem like they'd be fun to do on a non-stealth approach, but I don't think you could ever do ENTIRELY non-stealth, as the enemies have guns, and often outnumber you vastly.

I just beat Dawn of Sorrow. The game has a good battle system, and decent game play, but the music is crap and so is the dialog.
I was going to buy this the other day. But instead I brought Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and a copy of Viewtiful Joe. However Viewtiful Joe doesn't work cause my ps2 sucks T^T

VP: Lenneth is really good. I enjoy it so much. I love that battle system:

The music is good. The gameplay is fun. The dialogue is... sometimes good... and I think everything is well balanced.
