What games are you currently playing?

I got Magic the Gathering Duels of the Planeswalker 2013 on steam a couple weeks ago. Never played magic before, except for when my college roommate tried teaching me the rules. Don't know how people can play this without a computer, I don't know whats happening half the time. The game itself doesn't come with any official rule book except for a couple how to play slides. So I have to rely on the computer to tell me what I can and can't do and learn by trial and error.

Awesome Bro

... So has anyone else got Tokyo Jungle yet? We need to talk about it because it's one of the best games I've ever played, I'm dead serious too!

I'm buying my first pc build (hopefully) next week. Once that's built, my first move is to download portal 2 and do nothing but make maps

i have tried over and over again to get into Guild Wars 2, and I just can't seem to get into it. I know that it's a well-made MMO but god I really don't like MMOs (my fiance LOVES them so I want to try to hold an interest in it to play with him, but he's already leveled to 80 and I'm still stuck at lv27 :/)

What's funny though, is that I love Borderlands 2, and he can't seem to hold much of an interest in it. In his defense though, it is way too fucking easy.

I keep trying to figure out how to make the game harder while still having 4 players on (there's a hack to "fake" 4-player-difficulty, but that doesn't help when you have a full team on).
The only thing we can do is skip all the lower-level missions entirely, and hope that we bumble into areas that are higher level than us. But that's only happened like twice (though they were easily the most awesome bouts we've experienced).

I almost want to just toss all our gear and just try to rumble with whatever we can find, but we shouldn't have to dump our beloved weapons in a game focused on collecting gear, just to get some challenge :(

This is the same problem we had with Diablo III. Too god damned easy. Why aren't there difficulty sliders??? I don't WANT to slam through the story multiple times just to get harder modes. It SHOULD be challenging on the first go. Ugh

I keep reading that people are having a hard time with the game, and I cannot understand how anyone would have difficulty with it, unless they just skipped every non-main-story quest and never explored or just messed about.

Maybe it'd be harder if I were playing with people I didn't know. I play an Angelic Nurse/Harmony Siren build (where I heal constantly and can rez people), and we have a super-sniper assassin, an ammo-regen'ing gunzerker, and sentry-focused Soldier. We all have a very easy time with crit'ing and tactics. But even when we're just fucking around and doing stupid shit, we still blow through enemies like they're made of paper and butter. :/

Hell, sometimes we just randomly go off and do our own things, and almost never run into trouble, even when solo'ing an area in a 4-person game. Maybe we're just really good???? My fiance (the assassin) used to be a championship FPS player, but I know that I've never been too terribly spectacular at competitive gaming. It's just ... So easy @_@

Maybe it's harder on the XBOX than the PC, like how it was with Borderlands 1? (I tried both versions, and the PC version was WAAAAYYYY easier).

maybe you are just over lvled? i kinda stop doing sidequests so id be underlvled to give myself a challenge.
we are overleveled for most areas, but we've already gone to the length of skipping a ton of quests. we shouldn't have to skip like half the game just so we can have some difficulty with the enemies :(

probably will end up just skipping damn near everything though. it's no fun doing a quest where the GOD-liaths and bosses go down with 1-2 crits.

(does anyone else try to level the Goliaths like pokemon though? It is really satisfying, especially when we manage to get like 8 of them all fighting each other.)

"YOU BETTER GODDAMN SCREAM FOR ME, BIIITCH!"
"I'M SO GODDAMN ANGRY!!"
"GET READY TO FEEL MY FINGERS IN YOUR EYEBALLS!"
"GET ON YOUR GODDAMN KNEES!"

(meanwhile, all 4 of us players are chilling on a balcony, watching through scopes)

final fantasy 13, fighting another round of Barthandelus.

Have fun, Benos, and do better than I did.

FUCKING DESTRUDO.

Yeah he was hard, beaten, except, afterwards I fought a second round of Proudclad. So drawn out and long, but I got him.

I'm near the end boss Orphan now. I did try a save from gamefaqs beforehand, and got my ass kicked. Or didn't have my paragrims right. I heard you can use death on him
if he's staggered.

Officially finished Odin Sphere (PS2). I bought it in 2007 but never played to the ending credits. There are 5 characters to play in the form of books. Once you finish a book the next character/book is unlocked. The major design flaw is that the only way to go back to the character select screen is to reset the system. It must have been that reason I had a different save file for each character, which screwed me when I unlocked the final 5 boss fights that you select which character fights based on where they are at in that save file. So to prepare for the battles I'd have to manage items for one character, save, reset, manage another character, save, reset, ect... then do the boss fights.
I started a new game last week, but kept it all on the same save file. I got the good ending a couple days ago. Spent the last couple days replaying the final bosses with different character orders to unlock the different endings.

Was it fun?
I played murumasa and the art was amazing but the actual combat was really repetitive I could not get into it.
