Hmm, not sure I'm seeing a difference. I can see it drawing in regions when I'm zoomed out at like 12% view. But I don't normally work at that view anyways.
The preview mode isn't as fast as just applying an effect. Like I can apply "Pixelize" the whole thing and undo probably 2-3 times before in the time it takes the "Preview" Pixelize mode to render down the screen for some reason.

Oh boy. The Rotate Canvas is something I've wanted for a long time. I can just hold SHIFT and Press my Pen Button and rotate the canvas to any angle. That might actually change my drawing habits. It's something other Drawing Programs have had for a long time. I might do more hatch shading and comic book feathering techniques.

I'll have to see how well this GIMP plays with Screen Recording software. In the past it's done odd things,

This was going to be a pink mercy sketch, with her wings all out making her fly and stuff.

It's likely I'll finish it, then go draw it again with ruled lines, more anatomic fidelity, and then ink over it and scan it in.

Cool. Photoshop has a really awkward method for doing symmetry. AfterEffects' symmetry tool works fine, but AE isn't the right place to make freehand drawings.

WHAT THE FUCK kind of scam have all the art supply stores I've been in been running? I've never seen that shit ANYWHERE.

Biz, you got a mechanical pencil? What do you use? I discovered these in high school and after that was never satisfied with anything else.

By the looks of it mine is VERY similar, the big differenced being the tube on mine is hexagonal and thinner than the finger-rest. It's also the same color as the metal rather than the paint those are wearing. The only color on it is saome yellow anunder the cap at the end. It doesn't specify a brand. There's just a big barcode with some stats above it. Though the 'GraphiGear' fine print may be the brand. I got it from office works, was the most expensive drawing device they had that utilized lead/graphite.

As for sketches, I did some Wi Hellrider doodles but I don't feel like scanning those in. Beyond that I actually have to admit with some shame I haven't done much in the way of art.

But just now I did this cute Tiramisa. Nice change of pace not having to draw overcomplex sets of dragon wings for once.

Giving a very curious look emphasized by her catty features.

Did I ever tell you guys about the time I made a porn comic? It was aweful. It was also the most involved thing I had ever made and I was super proud I finished it.
It was 10pgs but if I remade it it would be shorter.

I made a 12-pager and looking back it was good because it taught me a lot about bodies- it also taught me not too attempt this again until I've gotten much better at drawing bodies.
