the neck is pretty wrong due to how i started from a humanoid shape. i only realised after coloring that the head should be much further forward and the neck much longer, along with a generally more hunched pose. i was gunna put an energy sword in his left hand but motivation = 0
i want to develop a style so that everything is consistent and kinda unique but i also cant be assed practicing so

I've been wanting to do that wide-eyed joyful expression for ages, but wasn't sure how to really approach it. Eventually I just went with it and it went great, I think!
A cropped version of this image will be used as an album art for one of the music tracks coming to the Fantasia OST, just like the two Rolly's above.

It appears I am on a roll.
Illusion of Nightmare
Nola is also a character in Fantasia, replacing Zardari in the Roster, who replaced King Richard. She is the first character you fight on Disk 2, ergo, she won't be in the Demo that's coming in December. I had a lot of fun doing the lighting on this one.
Silhouette of Justice
Another fantastic Nola render, this time showing her full body and in a combat situation, in case it wasn't obvious, these are album arts I've prepared in advance for when my composer gets to this stage.
However, we're not done just yet.

A new album art for a theme which has been composed already, I wanted to make a piece especially for Tristy's passive theme in Fantasia, and this suits it perfectly.

The Embodiment of Power: Wi Hellrider
In contrast to her sister Yi, the Embodiment of Terror, Wi is far more calculated, cunning and while she may appear to be more caring, it is only because she isn't blunt and reckless like Yi is. Wi rather rely on deception and omission rather than straight out order and statement of rules. Her interventions with mortals are far rarer, and she appears to take things more casually than Yi.
But don't let your guard down, Wi is every bit as dangerous as her sister, developing a sense of security around her would be foolish.

I think Bobbity was my favoritest DBZ villain even though he just floated around and made snarky remarks. I feel the same way about him as I do the supreme Kai. It's just the suggestion that there's supposed to be so much more to their abilities than what we ever see.

2017 was a good year. April, August, and October were my best months. Started off strong in February. Nothing exciting in May. September I worked on a fan translation. Idk where my head was at in November. Did some photo manipulation but nothing worth sharing.
Only 1 new image for December so far. I slapped some color on an old drawing from 2015; fanart for Defeat the Darkness. It's a web series on youtube made using the PS1 RPG Maker. It might get a final episode soonish. So I'm cheering them on.
And the year's not over yet!
So much more productive than last year. It's actually uplifting, kinda. The good outweighed the bad. I stayed mostly positive I think. I was in a sour mood today, but looking back made me feel happy.
I barely did any resource requests this year. Everyone wants MV generator parts. So I've just been rolling my eyes like "I can make anything for you people. Why do you insist on assembling it yourself?"

Good to see you positive, Coyote. This has been an exceptional year for me, with something for every month.
Driest time was during may. Most prolific times have been end of year. Notably October, November and December.
Cherry picking just one for some of these months was quite challenging.

Beerus is definitely my favourite Dragon Ball Villain along with Whis in ever. Been watching the Super Dub (actually caught up with releases currently) and every moment Beerus is on screen it is fucking gold.

Limbo alike Mad E. Lin, has a role to play in Fantasia. This is the album art for his passive theme.
Supreme Star Oddysey
Limbo going full Angel of Death mode. Despite him being a good guy, it's always fun to play with his morbid depiction as a Skeletopian death-dealer.
