Just a mock up. I'd like to change HBG "Windowskin" resources into a "Menu/User Interface" library one day. A bundle of textboxes, selected fonts, and sound effect. So that RM games don't feel the same.

I'm making a rule that menus should look good with and without facesets.
Also, should probably make adjustments for longer names and class titles like Rudolph Balthasar: Necromancer

Awesome Bro

A few things seem off (But that's due to the tileset, like the sizes of trees and stuff when put side by side, lol), and one thing that REALLY bugs me... is the shadow on the tree, look at the right, it's been cut off, lol.
 
Video of that game I was making over a few days for a competition that I am currently in that is about game programming that I currently do which is something that I used to get paid for once and want to get paid for again.

As usual for all the stuff I develop under time constraints; "game-play is janky but the code is surprisingly stable"
 
Animated MD2 models look so much better with shadows

Even that sprite at the side looks better when shadows pass over it, this is a pretty cool mini project of mine. Would be great if I continued with it :U

Probably bitten off more than I can chew here.

I haven't used the RTP in a long while, but getting there I think. Even this small area is nowhere near done but it's a start.

Heheh, Today just found out how to do additive blending in Unity 2D.
Also decided to add more realistic touch on explosion effect, I added short bright orange glow and several debris that jumps out from explosion.

Yeah. I've got those explosion effect animation sheet while i googled some stuff few years ago, and it's quite perfect. I've been using it for several projects and i'm still using it. But i made the debris and orange flare light by myself.
 
Cool. Is the softness complicated, like some kind of measurement based on how it would fade naturally or anything, or is it just fuzziness applied to a normal shadow?
