Technically, the plural is pegasi. But that's not really why this thread exists. Anyway, I've always found that fog graphic to be somewhat irksome. It breaks immersion for me, because it's clearly leaf shadows, only the leaves are evidently as big as the trees surrounding your character.

Ahaha, I was moving north so my leave was inescapable. Back now, Exile's released as a demo (check the proj dev board or click the link above) and it's awaiting feedback.

I've started work on a game maker project, Mechanics has been the focus so far.

Being a Tech Demo, the NPC's are placed on the map in a way that would not be fitting for an actual game. However, the Tech Demo is supposed to show off what is possible using expanded Tilesets, and how to easily get complex Tilesets into your game.

Im still quite fond of the visual style of XP over other RPG Makers...

I dont get it whats expanded about it XP can have any sized tileset.
 
True, but many tileset edits dont contain all the database settings, that one in the demo does. Just trying to make something that looks purdy with just runtime graphics.

I took a lot of inspiration from it, but its more focused on the dark gritty atmosphere and less on the obstacles.

the game will probably be easier than limbo, but I dare say a lot more chilling.
