Wow, Amy, your maps are beautiful! All I would really suggest is to put some shadows in the mine exterior maps.

Started a new pet project on Friday, managed to make a little more progress than I expected over the weekend so here are a few screens from what I have so far.

Basic level used for testing my character controller and some other core mechanics.

Looking good, random world generation in a 3D game? Impressive if you can get it working. Your last screenshot reminds me why I gave up on 3D :butt:

Not sure how this map is coming along. No trees as trees are events.

Yeah Wyatt its a bit tricky but hopefully should get it done its just a case of finding time to work on it more. Your map looks really nice, slightly odd without being able to see the trees but it gets the general idea across. Won't having the trees as all events increase lag massively?

The third video was an April fools thing, the rest are mad legit, though.

Still messing around with this idea, but here you see our hero and his fairy companion balancing while slowly crossing a fallen log. The hero moves slower and will wobble around trying to keep his balance if you stand still. These balancing sections, in addition to climbable vines and gaps that can be jumped, help break up the monotony of getting from point A to point B.
 
The actual game is a masterpiece of exploration and puzzle design. I remember playing the demo long ago, and the only thing I didn't fancy that much was the battle design but, as I said, that was a long time ago and I bet things have changed for the good.
