Last night I saw
God Bless America
Basically, a man's life falls to bits, and all he can do is look around and see how vapid, mean, and juvenile the country has become.
He finds out he's got inoperable brain cancer, so he figures, what the hell, why not take out the trash before he's gone?
At some point, a similarly fed-up-with-the-world teenager joins him.
It was pretty damn funny (in a dark way). Really satisfying ... The guy takes out proxies for much of popular media's worst wastes of human life.
Really liked the main actor too. You can't help but feel for the guy.
The ending is rather weak, but forgivable.
It's a little on the weird side, but worth a watch. So long as you aren't watching it with anyone who's easy to offend.
I'd highly recommend it to non-Americans, so you fucks can see that no, not
all Americans are "like that"
