@Alexia
The hero gets teleported away while fighting the wizard. The wizard just gets fed up with Nathan and decides the best thing to do would be to get rid of him. I am not quite sure why I put that, put you don't really ever save the princess, in the means that she never out of danger. The three are tied together, I just didn't really go that much into detail.
(P.S.) I'm really sorry if I should have edited my earlier post, I wasn't quite sure.

Just one of the ideas I have in mind right now.

Tentative title: Pooya's Adventure.
Picture of the main character, Pooya
http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j114/ ... s-blob.jpg[/IMG]

"You break the heart of Pooya. He not come back..." A small, blue blob says in a broken English, as he heads towards his raft on the beach. His name is Pooya, and he belongs to the race of shape shifting blob monsters called the "Puyo". Pooya is only 6 years old (In human years it would be about 12 years), yet he has a kind of heart that no adult Puyo has on the island that is his home.

A month ago, a young, 12 year-old girl, name Lean, became stranded on Puyo Island, where Pooya has lived. Upon lying in the beach sand, she was found by Pooya, who eagerly offered to assist her. If Pooya was a normal Puyo, however, he would have killed her on the spot. The Puyo are very apprehensive towards other races, and especially hate humans for a history of being overpowered by them. Not following the Puyo's standards, Pooya befriends Lean, who in return accepts his friendship and tries to teach him English. The two of them had fun for weeks, laughing and playing with one another, but it was all going to come to an end.

One day, while Pooya and Lean where watching the sky next to a tree, three Puyo; one orange, one green, and one yellow in color; hopped towards the two with a shocked expression upon their faces. "Pooya! What is this!?" the orange Puyo shouted at Pooya in Puyo language. Being that only he could understand them, Pooya hopped in front of the three, pleading in a broken English, "Please! No do! She is Pooya's friend! No harm!" The three blob's eyes widened, and then turned to a fierce glare. The yellow Puyo then spoke in his native language, "You speak their language, and make them your friends!? You filthy, insolent traitor!" Just then the yellow Puyo launched himself right into Pooya's face, which knocked him out. Caring for her friend, Lean rushed towards the blue blob trying to wake him up. The three blobs then approached her, with eyes filled with rage, one of them shape shifted in into sword, and before she could cry, a quick pain was felt on her heart, and she layed on the ground, breathless and pale.

The blob that struck her removed himself from her chest and shifted back into his original form, shaking the blood of his liquid exterior. Pooya has awakened, to find the one he fell nearly in love with dead. The three other Puyo left, without making anymore remarks, they believed that what they did was right. Pooya stood there, looking at the body. His slimy skin trembled, his eyes watered, he grew a pain inside of him, he uttered a few high-pitched sounds that were a result of his inner pain. He stood there the rest of the day, torn.

Without looking back, the painful memory faded from Pooya, as he boarded his wooden raft away from the island.

>As far as what's going to happen after this, I have no idea. xD

Aw...this so creative and cute. I love how Pooya speaks in broken English.

I think it would be more effective to have flashbacks of his friendship with Lean scattered throughout the game. Perhaps in the beginning flashback you could just show Lean being stabbed. Then, throughout the game you could show different moments in their friendship.

So, is Pooya just running away then? It doesn't seem as though he would get revenge on his race. Otherwise, why would he leave?

He basically feels that he doesn't belong with them. He has always been pretty ashamed of his kind for how they act, and the death of Lean hit him hard enough that he simply couldn't stand to live with them. In my mind I have a plan where his race ends up attempting to find a legendary item to destroy the human race, and that Pooya has to stop them. Like I said, I haven't really figured this out completely, After I get done with my current project I may start brainstorming some more. Thanks for the suggestions. :D

Sephiroth7734, that idea might not be so bad. However, everybody has their own opinion on who the best villains are. I think that Sephiroth is the best, but somebody else might say Kuja or Xemnas. You might want to make a poll to see who the general public thinks is the best, and go from there.

As for my idea, I'll edit this post when I write the full idea down.

Actually, I'm open to suggestions. If you or anyone else can provide profiles, pictures, and the theme music of a really cool villain you know, I'll consider including them.

And currently, the debate between who the final boss may be is between three characters: Sephiroth, MY best villain, or a villain totally made up just for this.

And the purpose of the game is to satisfy the wants of all the villain-lovers out there, as they fight WITH their favorite villains. I mean, imagine it. Your three favorite villains fighting alongside each other, on YOUR side! And you can switch them whenever you like.

Example: A team of katana-wielding villains: Sephiroth, Vergil, and Kadaj. Also note that every team's fourth member will be a nameless teenage character made up for the game (who I'm considering making a silent protagonist).

@Sephi:
That's might be pretty cool if you can pull it off actually; as the presence of all the familiar characters might draw some immediate interest to many. Although I can't really say much about it personally; I haven't really played that many popular RPGs, not even any of the FF games. :(

@Ratty: That's a pretty distant direction from your current project, and it gives a lot of room for creative directing in its progress, as Alexia mentioned. :)

Ohohoho, you're in luck, because it's not just RPG villains. Action, Horror, etc., any genre of game at all. It doesn't even have to be from a game, it could could be from a book, movie, or TV series. Just as long as you can provide detailed information and material on your favorite villains, I'll consider including them. But just remember that, since they're being recruited, they'd have to have some form of fighting ability.

Hmm... Actually, I might consider putting APOCALYPSE on hold for this, until I get some full-time artists.

If you're doing all game genres, consider Yae or Sae(or both) from Fatal Frame 2. If you have no idea what I mean...

http://www.cameraslens.com
Look for Fatal Frame 2 on the left, and read Yae's bio. It's worth it.

They could be like...necromancers, I think, summoning spirits to fight for them. If you damage the spirit, you hurt the girl as well.

EDIT: Yae's last name is Kurosawa, and Yae and Sae are twins.

Just a note on the villain suggestions. Only suggest your FAVORITE villains. I can't include every villain ever made.

Here's a list of the villains I'm including so far:
1. Sephiroth (FF7)
2. Kadaj (FF7:Advent Children)
3. Garland (FF1)
4. Palamecia (FF2)
5. ExDeath (FF5)
6. Kefka (FF6)
7. Seifer (FF8)
8. Ultimecia (FF8)
9. Kuja (FF9)
10. Seymour (FF10)
11. Mathias Cronqvist [aka. "Dracula"] (Castlevania)
12. Marluxia (Kingdom Hearts)
13. Xemnas (Kingdom Hearts)
14. Ramirez (Skies of Arcadia)
15. Walter Sullivan (Silent Hill 4)
16. Xelpherpolis (Ephemeral Fantasia)
17. Yami Malik (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
18. Dark Queen (Ico)
19. Specter (Ape Escape)
20. Psycho Mantis (Metal Gear)
21. Liquid Snake (Metal Gear)
22. Nightmare (Soul Calibur)
23. Vergil (Devil May Cry)
24. Seda (Dark Cloud)
25. Gaspard (Dark Cloud 2)
26. Sirus [aka. Griffon] (Dark Cloud 2)
27. King of Sorrow (Klonoa 2)
28-32. The five main villains from my five best stories, whom telling you the names of would be pointless.

Is.... she really considered a villain? Next to Siegfried, I'd consider her the main character.

Besides, I was really looking more along the lines of important villains. For example, although De Loco from Skies of Arcadia was pretty sweet, his importance to the story is extremely minimal. Therefore, his inclusion in this project is out of the question, despite how cool he is.

Short concept to see if it would actually work as a game.

Tentatively Titled: Damsel in Distress

Jane is an ordinary girl who constantly finds herself in extraordinary situations. Her knack for trouble has earned her the name of Damsel. One day, she decides enough is enough! Jane leaves her family and village, vowing not to return until she can learn to defend herself. This is easier said than done however...

I like it- it's got potential to become the Grand Theft Auto of RMXP. Think of the Non-linear missions and Jane's rise to power.

7even days is a short story that if in time i could make it into a game but i just wat people to see what they think, im not good with any spelling and that so please dont correct me.

7even days is about a Zombie outbreak in a small town in west virginia called Calmore. Its practically infected the hole city, and no known survivers, well that lived anyway. That Calmore police notified Shanfield police station, just out of west virginia, and sent a tactical swat team to undergo the investigation. As soon as the tactical squad saw this terrifing town they contacted shanfield and then they contacted the president. The President of the united states immediatly took serious action and set a barrier around the city so nothing can get in and most definetly nothing can get out.

the tactial squad were given seven days the investigate the infecton and look for survivers. If they dont get out within the seven days they wont get out ever again.

well please tell me what you think

Pretty Interesting... A short game based on a timesystem, with a certain amount of time to be finished? Am I getting this right?
So, are you thinking of doing it crepusculum-style, trying to avoid battleas and solving riddles, or the tactical squad's gonna use more ammo than in WW2?

Okay, I've decided to go with 35 villains total, but there are still two or three positions left. Still open to suggestions. (I'm at a loss for female villains if anyone's got any)

I'm already using Ultimecia, and the Dark Queen from Ico. And I was looking for villains with these traits:
a. Popularity
b. from a Video Game
c. Fighting ability
d. Story importance

I MIGHT consider using Narnia's Ice Queen.
