Meh, I prefer the translated version of anything to its japanese subtitled counterpart. Ive seen the first episode of the show in japanese, but that was as much I could take and have seen.

Why? In the japanese version was she intentionally made sexy?

Edit: Nyeh! I discovered there are some Japanese exclusive episodes, and after seeing the few at the end of season five, I know what you mean! >_<

Funniest part is that they made Pluto and Uranus(I think those are the two) cousins, when they're actually lesbians. Whatever happened to tolerance?

Also, you're missing out if you just watch dubs. Lately, dubbing has been getting a bit better(still not that great though, really depends on who they got to dub it), but usually(I say usually, definetly not always) the original language(this goes for everything) is better, because it's better acted out, and just is more 'natural.' Also, anime brought over with the intent to be dubbed and released for television audiences is ALWAYS cut. If it's on TV, and blood, sex, and extreme violence will always be cut.

That wiki article is primarily covering anime that didnt have all that much to cut anyway. Although I have to agree that anything dubbed by 4kids should then be burned.:yes:

5) Gundam Wing (although I understand alot of people didn't)

Also anyone who hasn't seen howls moving castle due to the fact it looks a bit childish should put it on their to do list, it's very entertaining.:thumb:

Huh, that master of epic looks good. I say I hate anime, but if it's really good and serious, not like Naruto (EXAMPLE SCENE: "ZOMGOD RAMEN!" "I'm a girl ninja!" "LOL I KILL U" "REZ PLZ"), but when the story is good, and everything makes SENSE, I'll love it.

Anyway, favorite anime? Don't really have one, though here are some I like:

- Last Exile
- Dr. Slump ('80s anime)
- Burst Angel
- Ganbare Goemon/Mystical Ninja Anime
- Slightly got into R.O.D. for a short period of time

Never seen the japanese version, but essentially, it was pretty much ecchi I think. Of course, this is all based on what I've heard on the vast series of tubes.

Doomwaffle, there are plenty of series that fit your bill, but most of the stuff you'll see on television is along the lines of Naruto. You're better off buying or downloading it.

And to Val, Wing was good, just not as good as other Gundams(not including SEED and SEED destiny. After the first half of SEED, and excluding Astray, the entire CE era of gundam is crap). The main thing that detracted quite a few people was the huge political points over everything else, which I personally liked(Trieze is the motherfucking MAN).

Then go see Code Geass, or Legend of the galactic heroes. Mecha and political (in CG case, psycho as well).

I stopped watching naruto on tv before the first episode ended,and smahed the cd in which i was keeping my downloaded episodes in after about 20 episodes.And it was too much.I don't think my brain will be completely functional ever again.It was really disapointing,since everyone was saying that naruto was the best anime ever and all that stuff.

200 days of SM. Thats what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna rewatch one SM episode every day until I relearn the series from start to finish. I'm sure it wont be the biggest of changes, but I would rather watch the series in all its glory then watch a watered down version of it.

The japanese lead actor is Kotono Mitsuishi (Evangelion's Misato, Noir's Mireille, Excel from Excel Saga), way better than the watered-down voices you have heard. Not that I would recommend watching SM anyway...

Ooooh... She was really good in Eva...

Tip: Don't watch the English dub of Eva. Shinji sounds like even more of a wuss then he already is(although he is supposed to kinda be one, the dub just takes it way too far), and Misato is just.... just no.....
Everyone else also sucks, just not as much as those two. Seriously, no matter what, just watch the sub.

And for those that havn't seen it, Eva is pretty generic in the beginning, but once it hits episode 16, it really starts to get good.

I can relate to the main character in School Rumble.

I saw most of the first 3 arcs... good stuff. Young Japanese girls have never scared me more then ever before after watching that.
