Fall of the Living: First Outbreak (Full Game Thread)

I assume it would be possible to make an 8-way game with this script?

I would like to make a BLOOD-type game with this script and my 3D Maya 8.0 program. How much scripting would it take to make it so that you use the standard sword/axe/mace type melee weapons and magic as the gun-type weapons?

I am REALLY intrigued by the possibilities of this script, my friend. Damn fine job, sir! Damn fine.

I would just REALLY like to see a "Twinsen's Oddyssey" looking game made with this script =)

This project looks well done. The maps are well done and are suited for this horror game. The graphics are nice. This is one of the best projects for RPG Maker XP I have seen. Good Job.
 
2 simple things...

1) this game looks absolutely immense, tbh I looked at the screenshots and practicaly made a mess in my pants (excuse the crude humour)

2) on the other hand, one thing the game needs is... more zombies.
not in number, in variance... a couple of differant female zombies, zombie cops, zombies with less white shirts, maybe a zombie hobo (for kicks), a hippy zombie, a millitary zombie, a biker zombie, a zombie nun or 2 (if you want to be really messed up lol) etc...

its in a city right? so there could be thousands of people from all different walks of life not just men in white or yellow shirts... more variance in the hordes of undead would look a lot nicer and a lot less tedious and give a lot more freedom to multi posed deaths as well.

and for comedy value you could always add a zombie gimp.

apart from that one point though, this game looks intense, creepy and a hell of a lot of fun and if you have a wider selection of zombies to throw into the fray i could honestly play it for hours every day for the next god knows how long (especialy with multi play)

ps. check the silent hill sprites I made... I was inspired by this game to make my own horror shooter on xp and them sprites are some of the current result... thanks dude.

2) He will be adding a other zombies I'm pretty sure. Great ideas for them ^_^, add the nun saikyo765 =D lol

As you may or may not know Fall of the Living is going to have a game mode called "Left 2 Die". Left 2 Die is a minigame mode parodying the game Left 4 Dead. It will feature 2 characters to choose from, running zombies, lots of ammo to go around, and a few maps to play through.

I decided to try and make a logo for this game mode. Tell me what you think.

i started changing up the way the game plays. you can now fire weapons from the hip while walking, but it decrease headshot accuracy. when you hold down A to aim your firearm, your walking speed decreases but you have a larger headshot chance since you are actually aiming your weapon. with shotguns you will be able to blow off zombies heads and torsos when aiming with A. each weapon now has a "reload jammed" stats. depending on how reliable the weapon is, there is a small chance the gun will jam when you reload it. if done right it can create tension in tight spots. while the gameplay is going to be all fun shooting action, the zombies are getting a scarier look, ai, and sounds.

i was also thinking of little extras for Left 2 Die :

That's like, incorporating elements of all the great modern shooters into an already awesome game! Hope it all works out for ya

yeah i just changed it up. im changing all the gun poses. you can aim from the shoulder (as pictured) and from the hip. of course shoulder firing is more accurate, but you walk more slow. when shooting from the hip you can walk faster.

I have been trying to code gun system now for 3 and a half years and got nothing :(
But i hope you will have fun time creating this mod!!!
 
No we are not dead. I just havent made anything worth showing off in pictures. I been making a bunch of diffrent maps and adding enemies to it to play around. It's pretty fun. I'm probley going to just connect all the maps and make it a trial version.

I really like the look of this game. I'm not usually a fan of zombie games, but this one catches my eye. Are you going to have mega-zombie-bosses like those in resident evil?
