Closed beta starts the end of this week.
Open beta starts the end of next week.

The open beta will have any bugs fixed found from the closed beta.
The open beta will also contain a special map not available in the full game, or closed beta.
The game takes place after the zombie war, but the minigame takes place during it. The open beta will have a minigame called "Zombie Warfare".

How it works is that you and a small highly trained team start off in the apartment complex from "Zombie Tales", but more detailed graphics, and blast your way through hordes of zombies together. When the minigame starts, you will have weapons and upgrades that are coded into the game so far. As well as a gun that will not make an apearance to the real game, which is just for jokes. You will see. new screens up later.

And working on a night vision goggle system, and thermal goggle system. The night vision has moving "grain" effect.
The night vision will have more realistic stuff, such as where light emits from street lights and such, it will be very bright. Zombies will also have a small glow around them so you can see them better. Will also have a limited battery, but recharges when not in use. Areas such as in the forest and such, you will need them because it is far too dark. Or even some ruined cities with no power.

And this is the Custom MP5A5.

Will have a battle mode.
Plenty gameplay types, as well as stages and characters.

One being you have to be a zombie, a single zombie with a few military men on a map, and a few unarmed people. You infect people as many as you can, untill everyone is dead and a zombie, or untill you are killed. There will be split screen to, so one player can be a zombie and one on the human side. You will be able to choose sides.

The closed beta is over I am sorry.
It was very short though so you wernt missing much.
I now know what all the bugs are, and they are easy fixes.
The public beta will be released this weekend.
Will have more weapons then the closed beta did.
As well as the shop system.
Plus a few extra maps, and maps with system test on it.
 
So the last 2 days I been working on a team system.
The team follorws you in a tactical formation with 2 soilders+hero. and they often checks behind the player for any zombies sneaking up on you. I'm working on giving them commands such as Follow,Wait, and to send one of the soilders to advance to see if its "clear".

I a number of varibles to keep the soilders in the right position when you are moving.

When you give the wait command, one covers you and the other covers behind the team.

When advancing ahead, sometimes they will decline depending on the situation. Such as if you sent them ahead into overly dangerous situations. I want it to mostly be used for clearing rooms and such when you check out a building for shelter. Such as on one part of the game with a 10 story office building, starting from the roof.

They have voice sfx and such.
When in the heat of battle they will throw grenades and fire for headshots. And if you get a nice kill, they will tell you positive remarks such as "good job!" and "sweet!"
I will make a youtube video of it once it is complete.

Each terrain has a diffrent walking sound. And on some parts, the wooden floor creaks when you step on it. I still need lots of parts for the chipset/map.

I have a working quicktime event system similar to RE4. On this part I want a boss fight with this rifle wielding hick. I want the kitchen to be bigger, and you are on the other side of this big counter, opposite of him. And you can press arrow keys to aim out diffrent directions, and even blind fire. I want a few destructable things like bottles on the counter, fruitbowl, salt and pepper shakers, wooden knife holders, flour, dishes. And each one can be destroyed while firing at him. And he will jump out random directions and try to shoot you.

Lightning flashes through theese windows because its infront of the house. its not done. the fog will have a double layer on this map.

On this scene you go down to nothing but dark and creepy noises. the light from the blue light from the window will go just on the outline of the zombies head, and when you switch on the light you see him eating out of a womens head. and drops her and starts chasing you.

I been working on the story alot lately.
I been changing it around some too. Next I will share the revised script as well as a few example screenshots of the screenplay I'm working on for the game.
