As you may have noticed in the teaser, we're now using super sprites for battles. ^^ I know a lot of people here wanted that, so I'd like to hear your thoughts. ^^

Most Impressive, I remember first looking at this project about a year ago and being wowed by it, I haven't seen much of it since then, probably because I wasn't a Chrono Trigger fan at the time. However I recently started played Chrono Trigger and whilst I may never be able to get a copy of Chrono Cross to work with my PS1 (it was never released in Europe), I'm fairly certain I will enjoy this heavily.

Chains, this is excellent, man. I'm absolutely in love with this project. Seeing as Chrono Cross is my favorite game in the entire world, to see Serge and Kid again truly makes me happy ^^. As for your progress so far, I want to give you thousands of kudos because everything: the maps, the menu, the battle system, are beautiful but most of all the character pics. I'm not sure if they're originial or not, but if they're not your choice of characters makes me feel warm inside--they feel Chrono Crossy to me =P.

If I didn't have my own project, I'd definitely help you out, but then again, with all that you've gotten done, I don't really think you need me anyway. So keep it up, man! This looks like one of the best games on this forum.

Super sprites are sprites that are larger than the ones used in the field. An example of another game that has super sprites in battles is the Tales series.

I'm deciding whether to use super sprites in my game. I've been using CT edits, so it's like CT sprites but the FF6 technique of sprite poses.

Anyway about CCr- The sprites are amazing. They keep the CT sprite style... BUT BIGGER!

Can't wait to see the battles in action.

Man this game is looking amazing. Out of all of the games I'm waiting for it is my 2nd most awaited(next to Super Smash Bros Brawl).

So what is the official status on the game? Is there any estimated release date? Any new info for us?
