But the last time someone tried to make a Chrono game, Square Soft/Square Enix actually sued the people who designed it, stopping them mid-development, thus causing them to have to quit or be force to be pursued by legal actions from SS/SE... So If you plan on making this commerical, don't count on it, as well I would give you a word of advice to be careful with this game un-commerically as well. But best of luck and hope to see this finished!

Actually if your talking about the game I think your talkikng about, then that game was 3D remake of the original Chrono Trigger. It was actually taking the game and making it 3D.

This game is a completely different story that shares ideas with the original game. It's not a remake of the actual game.

We have no worries about a C & D letter. For one, we're using nothing from their games, another thing is this is no different from fan art, fan fiction, etc. , it's not for sale, and it's advertising their games. If it came down to it, names and a few designs would just have to be changed seeing as how most of the content is original anyway.

Are you talking about Chrono Trigger Resurrection or something? I saw a video for a 3d Chrono Trigger on gamevideos.com a while ago and I'm guessing that's what you're talking about.

Yeah, It was a 3D remake. Still, just be sure not to use any commercial grapics from them, but again I will say this looks fantastic so far
