A tutorial to make some kind of race minigame.

Thanks in advance if someone make this one, and u'll be credited!

What kind of race?

Foot race? Car race? Balloon race?

Or just the race dynamics in general?

You know that you don't have a 3-day bumping restriction in the Tutorial subforum (I dunno if this i considered spam now or whatever, so meh), but anyway, this thread is stickied, so there's no reason to bump it... also, Tana intended this thread to gather suggestions, not requests... or at least, that's what she posted in the first post of this thread ^_^"

I think that someone should create a continuation of RGSS for dummies. RPG left it off at basic CMS and Trickster or another good scripter should continue with more advanced scripts. (T_T) It sucks being stuck at CMS-level scripting.

@Prince: You can't by default, but you can look at a custom message system with that feature... you could've find that out by searching the forums, BTW...

@Kin: A guide on everything you can do with RMXP? What part of 'limitless possibilities because of RGSS' didn't you understand? XD Well, the events should be explained in the help file, and if not, I remember Raziel working on a guide explaining those. For everything else, refer to the help file or the FAQ.

@Nyah: You can't just learn from a single tutorial series... there are a bunch out there, and you also learn from just experimenting around. Set yourself a goal, and if you get stuck, try to work on your problem, as in 'why doesn't it work? - how can I fix it? - is there possibly an easier way?'... if that doesn't work (and this isn't like two minutes brainstorming - of course it consumes some time...), you can always ask someone around here... well, that's how I did it, and though I'm not a that good scripter, I can see myself making progress... and I'd consider myself far beyond the CMS level ^_^

Would anyone like a Ice Sliding Puzzle Tutorial?
I can make one, I just would like to know if anyone would be interested.

Oh, also, my ice sliding puzzles only use 1 event, and NO scripts ^_^

I'd like to see someone do a mapping tutorial for the "Church Exterior" RTP tileset. I suck at mapping, and whenever I try to make a grand cathedral, it comes out looking terrible....
