What is wrong with homosexuality is that it defies what many on earth believe to be God's word which is the Old & New Testaments.
What is so wrong with homosexuals? I mean really?

Whats actually wrong with the world are religious fundamentalists, not men who just so happen to be attracted to other men. Besides, it is likely that most of a religion's beliefs are wrong. (including christianity)..
And for all of you who want to say that its God's word that homosexuals will be condemned....
The quote most often used is from Leviticus "If a man shall lie down with a man as he does with a woman, he shall be put to death" It says put to death, not burn in hell.
Oh, and just for reference, it also says in Leviticus "A child who curses his mothers name shall be put to death" (here's hoping all your fanatics havent ever called your mother a bitch behind her back)
And it says "If a man lies down with an animal as he does with a woman, he shall be put to death, and so shall the animal"
Which is almost ok. I'm ok with killing the guy who raped the goat, but, its not the animals fault. Instead of killing the goat, we should send it to counselling.

Perhaps you misunderstood what you said. Now, I might call that stupid. But I'm wouldn't be saying that you're stupid. My point coming across here? It is abominable - homosexuality. The act. I think it's a fairly vital point in the Bible that homosexuals are *not* any more abominable than a thief or an adulterer, or someone who marries a divorced woman. Mr.Mo, the laws of the Old Testament are, in the New Testament, labelled as transitory, to bring the tribe of Israel to a point where they could accept the 'new seed' (Jesus and the New Covanent). A simple problem that homosexuality causes in emerging nations is the lack of childbirth, just like withdrawl, masturbation, etc. Thus all of these things were sinfull, because they damaged the nation. Now the problem is overpopulation, and sodomy doesn't really present much of a problem to the population level. And, for the last time, God does not, and never did, hate gays, but sodomy. God's decrees would not change because of changing attitudes; it is for Him to lay down the law, and for us to try to obey (if you believe).
When I first heard about what homosexuality was, I was repulsed. However, I was only 10. The thought of it made me feel wierd. But I was immature and naive.
Upon finding out that one of my aunts is a lesbian it changed my whole perspective. I see that they are normal people and they deserve the same respect that heterosexuals deserve.
I still don't see what the fuss is about the marrige issues, though. Its not a matter of religion or belief. If you belive in God, you know he wants you to be happy, and if being a homosexual makes you happy, then God loves you. Congress needs to get bent, the issues is so imature. Let them have marriage and happiness, I am 100% for gay marriage!
Am I gay? No. Do I know how they feel? Not really. What I do know is how I would feel if all of the sudden heterosexuality was against my religion, or if I was gay. It would suck. Congress has done pissed off a lot of people, even heteros, over this matter. Gay marriage is definatle in our horizon. I belive it will be one hell of a fight.

I am a athiest and believe there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. I really hate it when most people use the word 'gay' as an insult, what I even hate more is when people say it is sick and gay people are perverts, petefiles and bum f**k (If their male.) All the time, is it wrong to love somone of the same gender? Humanity is not going to friggin die out becuase there is a few homosexuals, anyway, humans are overpopulating the earth.

because our country was founded on moral standards based on the Bible,
and it was considered immoral.
although I believe in conserving this belief, shame on all so-called
Christians who harrass and judge people for being gay. that is not their
duty, nor any one's on the planet. only God can judge. hopefully people will
read His commands and follow them. if not, we can only TELL people what the Bible says, NOT condemn them. if, you chose not to believe, that's your choice. btw God loves you even if u r gay.

Some of my friends are gay (and most have "come out") and I don't see any difference in them from before they "realised" they were "gay".
I see nothing wrong at all. If you love someone, you should be able to be with them regardless of their sex. You love them for who they are, not because they have tits and er... parts down there.

This is the first time i am gonna comment on this topic.
I believe people in the society have a lot about having homosexuals. This is a very cruicial topic if REALLY acted upon.
I say SAME SEX MARRIAGE is a sin. I hate it and i do not like 2 same sexes to do that.
God made only man and woman. Being lesbian or gay is an aquired PERSONALITY. We are born male or female. I say homosexuality is only a way of thinking. A personality. Not a sex.
In your case, they do not have the right to judge you about how you feel for your girl...
Honestly i dont like the existence of homosexuals but i can live with them...
And as long as you do not offend other people physically or verbally, it's fine with me... :D
