To be honest with you, I've preferred most of Obsidians games to Biowares, I don't know, there's just something about them that I like...

they've got a pretty bad reputation because of kotor2 and it sucks, because that one wasn't actually their fault - it was rushed out prematurely thanks to lucas arts, hence all the cut content and lack of ending

bioware is a lot more consistent - for the most part they release quality games, whereas obsidian seems to jump from "amazing" to "what is this shit" but yeah, i have a love of obsidian & chris avellone thanks to Planescape: Torment, Fallout 2, NWN2, and KOTOR2

THE best thing i liked about NWN2, is whenever you cast a spell, there'd be an accompanying chant/cast voice to it. that shit was so awesome. no other game does this, there's just a spell or a cast time and that's it. so boring. i just loved that you'd start casting some uber powerful spell and your guy would say some words before casting. shit was so pwn


also: moxie, did you get SR2 on pc or console?

I prefer console to be honest, since games like this play better with a controller, unless you plug one into PC and map the controls, but meh.

The PC will look better, and I'm sure there'll be mods about, but meh, aside from that, they're the same.

when i walked under one of the tree clamp machine things it moved suddenly and in the dream sequence the eyes in the tvs was cool and those gave me a start but otherwise the creepiness is nonexistant and god damn it i fucking hate the batteries on this flashlight D:<
