actually my fave part of dead space was at the very very very beginning when you're watching your approach to the ship while in the cockpit, it was ......so engrossingly well done
if there were some kind of space exploration game that looked like that and controlled like a more-friendly version of flight simulator x i would die happy and probably never put it down
I'm so close to being done with Spec Ops on MW2 now it hurts. Anyone in the mood to help me out? (The ones I'm on are wardriving, wetwork, and that one in the scrapyard with the intel or something...)

you'll buy it once you start playing it though. its awesome.Yeah I agree with Necrile, I mean, I played it for a few months, and the first day of the free trial got me hooked. I mean seriously;
When I started I was just chugging along minding my own business, and some guy asks me if I want a job helping him mine, and I'm like sure okay, and he gave me a new bigger ship with a larger cargo hold so I could mine more in one trip. After about an hour, we headed back to a space station, and a fleet of literally 50+ ships came from behind us, and blew the guy up, I was like oshit come on lil' chugga'! and tried to escape, but they left me anyway...
About 10 minutes later I met up with the guy in another spaceship (This one he had was bigger, like, it was about 300x bigger than mine, and Necrile can confirm this, ships really can get that big...) and gave me his old one, which was relatively bigger than mine, he invited me to a group, and we took a few spacegates around the map. When I got there, it was a fucking battlefield with hundreds of ships all flying around with their pew pew lasers shooting the fuck out of each other!
... That's when it happened... my first player kill! I was SO happy!
And that's how I started EVE... all this happened within like 2-3 hours of gameplay... fun as fuck. Not sure why I don't even play it anymore, might have to subscribe again sometime.

Same. I really should start playing it again after I get done with my game.. Plus i love how the combat system works. I hafta bite my tongue to start saying shit like "ALL POWER TO FRONT GUNS" "FIRE TORPEDOES" "WARP SPEED AHEAD CAPTAIN" "DIVERT POWER TO SHIELDS! WERE UNDER ATTACK" Yes. I'm a nerd. And that's why i love eve. (seriously though, fucking economy in the game is incredibly in depth)
