Back to playing ff14 cause expansion is out. Got about 18 more main quests to do till I can start the expansion

Also, I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei IV.
I've heard before that it's super difficult, and the start of the game was, but if you're smart in the way you fight and talk to demons as well as level a bit it's actually fine. I'm really enjoying it!

Yeah once you grind a bit in thr beginning it becomes easier. I remember there are some gnarly hard bosses. have you played bravely default?

I'm currently on Medusa who is a huge bitch. For one of the bosses (I think it was Minotaur) I had to get 3 Demons that were resistant to Mudo since he kept using Mamudo. It would kill main character more often than not. It was a pain in the ass.
I was going to get BD but I didn't have enough space, so I got SMT over it. I still want to buy it, but I'll have to get a physical copy of it.

I just got my PS4 with bloodborne. I beat Father Gasciogne on my first try :D But I've yet to beat that one weird ass beast near the beginning with the one really long hairy arm. :I
My tactic was going to be "Molotov" but I just haven't tried it again.

I just beat the game today. I even did the optional ending boss along with all of the optional side bosses as well. I didn't do the chalice dungeons though, and I'm not sure if I'm going to do them. I might make a new character and try a different build, preferably a blade of mercy build.

Okay so I actually continued the build and got to level 130 with 50 in each strength, skill, and vitality. I ended up doing all of the chalice dungeon and even beat queen yharnam. I also beat the game again on new game plus. it was definitely easier the second time around. the boss that gave me the hardest time was actually micolosh cause he kept 1 shotting me with his clap-and-blast move. it got obnoxious after awhile. other than that, I breezed through it.

I left my PS4 in Alabama so I'm making no progress on anything, which sucks. I was finally getting into The Witcher 3. Also had picked up both Bastion and Transistor on sale.

Also Rocket League is amazing and still free so get it and play.

The Witcher 3 is fun, but I'm a little put off by the combat. Must of it works pretty well I guess, but that lock on is just kind of frustrating, particularly in instances where I'm fighting in a place with a lot of junk lying around. Like that part early on with the wraiths in the castle courtyard. For one, them and their teleporting nonsense completely frustrates me since the game auto locks on to the next target, despite your previous one not being dead and, in fact, piping up behind you. Normally, this would be manageable, but I end up getting hit nine times your of ten because I end up dodging into a fence to my left that I could not see, which usually leads to multiple baddies backing me in and wailing on me.

That aside, though, the game is enjoyable enough. Single combat is great fun, and prepping for a big boss feels cool. Like I'm getting ready to take on something big. Which I am.

Got my first PS3 Platinum Trophy playing Ar NoSurge.
It was pretty easy to unlock compared to my other games. Not as time consuming. I didn't even have to start over from the beginning like most RPGs to get alternate endings.

More FFX. It's bizarre how much easier this game seems after ten years. That can probably be attributed to my not being a stupid eight year old this time around and having a deeper understanding of the core mechanics.

FFX was one I found it hard to get into because of the temple puzzle things. They just annoyed me. The actual game I was fine with, I just really, really hated that puzzle.

Ah you mean the Cloister of Trials? Yeah, they can be a real pain in the arse, thankfully I've played the game enough times to know what to do and how to get all the Destruction Spheres while in them to unlock Anima, yay!

Wait. Fuuuuck I forgot about getting Anima.

Guessing that means you also forgot about getting the Magus Sisters, eh? Since you need Anima in order to get them...

I'm gonna have to revert to an older save I guess. I want to nab as many trophies as possible in that first go through. I don't intend to immediately play FFX again just for trophies.

Speaking of, I did finally get the platinum for Far Cry 4. Next up are Minecraft and Bastion. Those dreams. Those idols.

It's not really a problem anyway, since you can return to all the temples other than Bevelle and do the trials again to get the spheres...

... Really? I never knew that. Mind, the farthest I got on my own was fighting Sin on the Al-Bhed airship so.

I've never had to do it myself since I've always got the spheres my first time around, but yeah I'm sure I've seen on the internet somewhere in the past that you can return to them...

I'm so excited to get home to my new PC now. I've built a rig that can kick any game's requirements to the curb.

It's kind of sad that come autumn the only thing I'll be playing for months is Fallout.
