What I find annoying is that whenever Lee makes the tiniest white lie, or has to make a tough call, everyone shits all over him about it forever.
Like okay I saved Kenny's son and stuck up for him the whole time, but I agree with Lilly like 2 times when he's acting like a dick, and he just pretends not to see me when I'm about to get ganked instead of running to help??
And then I make it out of that alive but he STILL acts like he can be mad at me?? WTF bro
You know, shit like that ... The characters are a LITTLE too touchy about minor disagreements. The game probably does a check to see how many times you've agreed or disagreed with them to affect how they react to you, but not all decisions are equal, and they probably should have done it on a variable, weighted scale. (For instance, saving a man's child and always doing right by the kid should outweigh pretty much anything else, and he should pull for you no matter what, unless he's an evil asshole or something)
Also it REALLY pissed me off that I did EVERYTHING goody-two-shoes, except for telling Vernon that Clem was my daughter (hello?? gun pointed at my head?? and why couldn't I say "well i think of her as my daughter"??), and he chews me out for being a bad leader. >:I
fuck you, homeboy
I bet it's because Lee's black
buncha rassicts
what i'm REALLY bummed about though is that the two people in the whole game that seem like the greatest survivors -- Charles and Molly -- die and leave, no matter what :/
At the end there I felt like I was just ending up with all the runts of the litter or something. "Yay, I get a short dude with a fucked leg, a pregnant bitch, a bumbling teenager, and a guy who holds grudges like no one's business who probably wouldn't mind dying anyway. Great."
In my playthrough I totally let Ben go. I felt that he was more of a detriment to the well-being of my group and when he asked me to let him go and said "We both know." I felt that at least in MY story, this was his redemption moment. I didn't bring Clem with me to Crawford so when we had to spill the beans about Ben (thanks to Kenny's asshole-ness) I had to explain to her that Ben wanted to sacrifice himself for the survival of the group and she responded that she understood.
I agree with the touchiness of the characters; it's akin to walking on eggshells whenever any decision comes up. I'm fairly happy with my run-through, tho'.
I'm assuming you took Clem with you to Crawford? The scene where Molly gets attacked by the Walkers in the school was intense because Clem wasn't there to save her and it's completely up to Lee to save her. I've watched videos online and apparently you can actually shoot her on accident! Crazy!
According to the Telltale games twitter and forums, the release date for episode 5 should be within this upcoming week. I'm really curious as to how they're going to pull this episode off with there being like 8 different ways to start the episode depending on who went with you.
Did you hide or show the bite in your play-through? I hid mine for fear of worrying my group and them abandoning Clem and I. I'm now worried that this is going to have some crazy seriously effed up consequence in ep. 5
