BTW. Isn't there a new version of Street Fighter 4 coming? I thought it was Street Fighter 4 Turbo or something...
I beg to god they don't do the same thing to SF4 they did to SF2 :x (SUPER TURBO HYPER SONIC SAUSAGE)
Also uhhh, I'm currently playing Megaman Zero 4 o.0

Yeah, its super street fighter 4 (oops jbrist beat me to it) and it looks pretty solid, glad they added dudley, now my friend cant bitch.

& haha, they might, I sure hope not though, I didnt like the upgraded sf2's :x

also mmz 2 is my favorite in the series.

just got off work and found grandia in my closet, so i think ill pop that in the ol' ps3

That game was quite... I dunno...
Strange.
Like, in the deepground mission... Everything was surreal to the point where I wondered what drugs the developers were on.

I finished Chrono Trigger for the first time about six months back so when I moved to the US I thought I'd buy myself a PS1 for $10 and a copy of Chrono Cross. It's interesting to say the least, haven't gotten very far but I think it'll have a hard time trying to match up to Trigger which even today holds up with the best of them.

Chrono Cross has a lot of replay value. Especially in a new game + where beating the last boss at different points in the story will give you different endings. Then there's all the characters that can join your party. I remember picking it up in a discount bin, I hadn't heard of Chrono Trigger at the time. It's one of my favorite Ps1 rpgs, right next to Legend of Dragoon.

Right now I'm not playing anything. I've got my Ps3 running to heat up my room cause it's freakin cold and snowing outside and my ps3 makes a great space heater.

High Hopes

Awesome Bro

Coyotecraft's last sentence is pure truth.

I'm going to start my first run in Legend of Mana. Any warnings/pointers from anyone before I dive in and get my ass handed to me?

Well I'm not playing anything YET, but my mate demands I give Fallout 3 another chance, since the last time I played it, I thought it was bloody TERRIBLE, and before anyone says I didn't put enough time into it, 32 hours should be enough to determine whether I like a game or not, lol.

He says if I like it (Although I've already said I don't...) he'll buy me the GOTY edition on Friday, lol.

Well y'see, I was expecting to to "kick ass" myself, since it had amazing reviews, and people were telling me nothing but good things about it, and to be honest, I was VERY disappointed with just about every aspect of it...

I guess if I didn't read/watch reviews, and no one told me about it, I could've dived into it with blank impressions, and made my own based on what I've played...

It's those stupid reviews and all the attention games get, it sort of ups your expectations, only to realise that it's all propaganda !

Maybe I should try and get into it again, but to be honest, I can't think of many W-RPG's that'll EVER beat Oblivion or Morrowind...

i liked it better than oblivion or morrowind. the writing was more clever. the quests, more interesting. the creatures you fight, more creative. the social network within, more engrossing. the VATS system made marksmanship easy and fun. being good or evil caused more and different things to occur.

that said, the grey world DOES get old quickly. you have to invest a good couple of hours before the fun quests become available. the graphics could have been better, but they were initially making it for a previous-gen system until about 75% of the way through development. there are collision issues sometimes and without cheats, it's hard to become extremely powerful. it's a harder game in a lot of ways. the expansions aren't quite as enthralling as the ones for oblivion. and the UI probably could have been a little more functional than stylish.

so it's got its goods and its bads but the former outweighs the latter IMO.
