Star is like uber stuck on it and he says it's quite difficult if you can't get the hang of battles.
I've never played it, only watched him do it.
You can customize the main characters' outfits, which is good seeing as you can only get 3 characters in the whole game.
Maybe you should rent it?

i liked the direction that shattered memories was going and i really appreciate them trying to innovate but unfortunately it just plain wasn't scary

I liked Shattered Memories a lot. I couldn't do the chase scenes, though and made Star do them all. XD

I platted Resonance of Fate couple of days ago. The game kept me enjoyed the whole way trough.. (except for one fight in Neverland secondary area, stupid faeries..)
Battle system is awsome, story is balls..
Back to Mass effect 2 now! I'm restarting again, Vanguard is fun but charge is pretty useless most of the time.. Sentinal seems cool and that armor looks really handy so I'll try that class now

and idk ... just, the fundamentals behind the scenery are off.
just think about color associations.
this one is going super blue and grey ... which is calming and ... well, morose, i guess
the originals did all grey for the neutral plane and then red for the hell plane. so you'd naturally be calm and feel somewhat safe, until the sirens went off and you woke up surrounded by brown (grimy/unsettling) & red (danger), where your stomach would drop and you'd know Some Bad Shit was going down.

yeah, it's gonna be nigh-impossible for a new team to recapture the old magic, so i just hope they make something weird and unique using the old Silent Hills as a vague template and inspiration

I bought the new Tactics Ogre game yesterday (and because no one preordered it, they gave me a pack of tarot cards that came with the game - drawn by my favorite artist).
I'm not going to get heavily into it until I find out who's who (like which characters I'm making and so on).
I like the artwork, the interface, and the special effects. They added a lot things, which will take awhile to get into - but I won't complain. Overall, I'm enjoying it.
Now to figure out my real party. XD

Oh wow. Sonic 3D . . . . I remember the Christmas of 95' when my mom got me that. Oh the memories.
Been playing Marvel vs Capcom 3 a lot lately. Fun game, but I am a bit disappointed that a number of my favorite characters didn't make the cut (come on, no Megaman?) and I remember reading somewhere that the game was going to have a robust storyline. Aside from the intro movie, there's not much to see. The endings aren't even animated. Kinda' lame since Brawl was able to do it. But still, not a bad game. Just expected a little more "oomph"

I've noticed that the roster doesn't include too many of my favourites, I mean, I'd definitely get rid of say... X-23 and She Hulk to add Cyclops and Gambit, but meh that's just me. Besides, I reckon they'll add new fighters as DLC, and I'll probably end up buying 'em anyway.

Okay so I bought it today, and fucking hell it's amazing, it's the best fighting game I've played since Marvel vs Capcom 2!
I've got to admit I was expecting X-23 to be a clone of Wolverine in terms of gameplay, but she's actually really good, I quite like using her...
Although my team consists of:
Wolverine, Deadpool, Anyone else.
I'm going for the trophy to get all the ending movies, so I just use Wolverine and Deadpool to blitz through the fights and wear down Galactus' health until the third character can waltz up and one hit him, it's working pretty well so far.
I've also played two matches online, the first one, my last character was Dante, but I didn't need him... or Deadpool, since I won with Wolverine in literally 11 seconds flat, all 3 characters dead (They called both support characters as I did my special attack and it caused one of 'em to die, and the second was on low health anyway...), whereas the second fight, it lasted ages and I died because I tried punching through a special attack (They needed one hit to die!) instead of blocking it, lol.
tl;dr
This game is amazing, buy it!

Finally got around to getting my favorite team. *nods* Well, 3 out of 5 anyways. XD Oh wells. I really like over the original. The interface is awesome and added content is a nice change. Plus, no one dies permanently right away anymore! I should be playing more of it this weekend.
