What games are you currently playing?

i fought the cannibal chef for like an hour, trying to figure out new strategies and shit, leaving, coming back with tons of OJ, trying to throw shit at him, trying to shoot him, trying to sneak up and gank while he's eating, trying to flood the room with zombies ...
ffff i'm about ready to cut my losses and trade in the game for something else while it's still worth more than $5 >:|

Well I found that the Rocket Launcher (Lead Pipe and Rocket Fireworks), along with the Paddlesaw (Paddle and Chainsaw) worked REALLY well against the cannibal chef, first drop your paddlesaw just outside, and equip youe rocket launcher and walk in, when it starts, spam him with the fireworks until he either stops moving or tries to eat, at this point, drop it, pick up the paddlesaw and go to town on him.

I'd also say to use the same tactic on Carl the mailman, but when I tried him last, he killed me because he's got some sort of pinpoint accuracy with his shotgun...

Also, I'd recommend taking some OJ with you for healing, maybe take a quickstep too (Forgot what makes it... but it's the white one), that'll help you get close with the paddlesaw.

Actually, scrap the OJ, I've just realised that the Beer Hat is tons better, takes up one slot, and you can use it I THINK it's 6 times, and it heals 2/3 blocks I think, also get the book that increases food healing by 50%, so it'll be 3/4 blocks x 6 = 18/24 blocks of health in one inventory slot, well, two since there's the magazine too...

fff alright i'll try it. i knew about the beer hat but it always feels like it takes too long to use compared to just letting him knock off most my health then doing a quick chug to get it back
the enormous difficulty gap pisses me off hugely >:eek:

Lol yeah it is quite annoying, and it's too bad there isn't some sort of super weapon like Adams chainsaws on the first one, I mean shit, with those you could kill the psychopaths in 3-4 hits... they were proper overpowered, and lasted FOREVER because they counted as a tool, a toy, and a domestic weapon, so the durability was 8x, since they stack (Each magazine gave x2 durability), but on the second, magazines give x3 durability, but I don't know if they stack or not... and too bad you can't increase the durability of combo weapons D:

So I've only just found the gun shop in Dead Rising 2, I don't know why I didn't check the top floor of Palisades Mall earlier... they've got shotguns, sniper rifles and grenades, lol.

Also, I've finally found the third combat magazine, it was underground, so now I get +30% PP from weapon kills, and I'm going to see if the horror magazines will stack with it, since you get +25% PP from killing zombies, and there's two of 'em... SO if they stack with the combat mags, that'll be +80% PP per kill, thats 480 PP per kill with the paddlesaw, or 540 PP per kill with the laser sword... that's pretty amazing, and apparently there's a magazine that CAN increase the durability of the paddlesaw x3, so if I can kill 150 zombies at 480 PP a pop, that's 72,000 PP in like, 30-60 seconds, and then I can just leave the map, come back, make another paddlesaw, and continue... damn!

I'ts the same coorporation >.>

That, and i'm a suckr 4 Guitar Hero...
Cleared all (exept 80's & Van Halen) of them, of most on Expert :D

But I must say, they were f-in up with GH5...
GH:WoR (6) is a nice step back to their roots, though Red Octane aint there anymore

oh hot damn, i've been doing the meat explosives trick on the fireworks stands. typ gets me like 50k PP each run, but it takes like 10-15 minutes to build all the needed stuff and attract enough zombies, so im tryin this shit

So it turns out combat and horror mags don't stack, which sucks, however, you can still get decent exp with just the combat mags, if you don't want to get the one underground, 20% extra PP is always good, since that's 300PP per kill, and it turns out the paddlesaw can withstand 60 hits before it breaks, so that's still 18k PP a run, and takes less than a minute because the paddle is right next to the maintenance room, the chainsaw is IN the maintenance room, and it's at the side of Silver Strip so there's quite a few hordes of zombies to plow through, when you've done that, just enter a building, like the Slot Ranch Casino (Across from the mainentance room, it's the curved building), exit it, then repeat... 18k a pop and takes a minute is pretty decent if you ask me... just make sure you have the paddlesaw combo card otherwise you'll only get 150 PP per kill instead of 300...

Edit---

Also for those of you who don't know the best way to grind with the paddlesaw, here's a pretty picture guide I've just made;
paddlesawgrind.PNG

Edit 2---

Oh, if you'd like to know where to find the combat magazines;

#1 Royal Flush Plaza
Location - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow kiosk on first floor

#2 Palisades Mall
Location - Stan's Large Print Books and Magazines

If you'd like the third, first make sure you have access to the underground... (If you do get this, you'll get 325PP per paddlesaw kill)

#3 Underground
Location - near western-most underground access point

Okay so on Dead Rising 2 I've just dinged level 29, and got the combo card for the Knife Gloves... and holy shit, they give 300PP per attack and are pretty fast, and very easy to make (Boxing gloves + Bowie knife), and with my books they're popping out 390PP per attack, and I've got three pairs of 'em, they also have 60 durability, which is 23,400PP per pair, however, it takes longer to waste 'em than the Paddlesaw... oh well.

I'm sorry, I'm not asian so my parents don't take my games off me and force me to study like a good boy... which, they don't anyway since I'm not in education anymore, and I'm TECHNICALLY an adult... lol.
