Okay so I played through Dead Rising 2 again for another 3-4 hours, and then decided I'd play Enslaved...
Oh my god.
I thought the demo was amazing, the set peice of being on a ship that's about to crash out of the sky... you haven't seen anything until you've played the full game, the game is just so beautiful, it's so bright and colourful, has an amazing art style, and has some of the best graphics I've seen on a console... everytime I get up high somewhere, I just have to take time to walk around and look at my surroundings... it's sort of like Just Cause 2, where the view distance is far, and yet, things really far away still maintain a ton of detail... it looks amazing, there's so much detail in the game. The only problem with this though, is that it's running on UE3, so there's a few texture pop ins at time, lol.
I'm definitely having fun with this game, the story hasn't really kicked in much yet, although I hope it does soon since I'm about a third through the game (There's 14 chapers I've finished the 5th and at the start/midway point of the 6th) and there hasn't been TOO much happening storywise, but damn if I haven't enjoyed every second, even the amazingly basic combat is pretty fun, although I can see it getting old very soon, and the combat upgrades don't do much, like, you can't buy new attacks or combos or anything... but oh well.
So... yeah. Amazing game, I'd urge everyone to atleast try out the demo and if that doesn't get you interested... I don't even know.
