How has no one said Shin-chan? Sure it may be drawn like ass but the sheer content of that show is absolutely funny. Of course you have to have  a good sense of humor to fully get most of it. But I mean c'mon 5 year old kids worshipping a guy named Action Bastard. It doesn't get any funnier than that. Also if you're young watch Narutard. Shippuden is the shit but the one thats one now sucks arse.

hey shin chan is a good show though
mostly what i like is what the english team did with it. because they had to change a LOT of it to fit the american style of humor, i think they did a pretty good job at keeping up the continuity while still being funny.

Yeah, the husband and wife team behind Milk and Cheese did the original Shin Chan "added" content, and they've been going with that ever since. I think it takes a lot of cajones to go out of your way to make a completely non-direct translation of an anime for anime fans and actually make it funny. AND the fact that it's done by Funimation who've tried hard for many years to not be seen as "those fuckers who messed up Dragonball Z for me BAWWWWWWW QQ"

I only recommended Inuyasha as a way to kill time. Let's face it, it kills a lot of time. Anyway, I'd also like to re-recommend GTO. Finally watched it, and it's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. I absolutely loved it.

Hayate no Gotoku is hilarious and fun to watch in my opinion! You should check it out sometime.

On the off chance no one has mentioned it yet, The Devil may cry anime was pretty good if you're a fan of the games and just wanted a little more depth. Detective Conan cute as it may be is actually pretty interesting and fun to watch given it's mostly murder mystery stuff.  Good luck making it to the end though, The writer doesn't stop for anything.

Cowboy Bebop is among my favorites, Elfen Lied was gory but good, I've heard the Manga is much better though like most things.  Just download Realplayer and take a good look through Anime corner, I'm sure you'll find something you like.

I found the DMC anime to be a little too off topic of the series imo, like a lite version of Cowboy Bebop. Conan was really good, but its so damn longggggg, good show though.

The elfen lied manga was good, but I prefer the anime. The english adaptation was well put together and it still reigns as one of my favorite anime.

Azumanga Daioh is shitty. I thought it was going to be a good show but its just a bunch of tweens running around screaming. I forgot all about Boogiepop Phantom! Last Exile is where its at. Sky pirates and things of that nature. Its a good show just have to be able to stomach some of the issues. Negami is an okay show. I'm currently watching that when I'm bored. It seems to somewhat entertain.
