True Pokemon Starter Kit

Well, here's a tut that FlameGuru posted over at PC, and I quote:

"Ok, here it is. Enjoy this guide. NOTE, I cannot guarantee any success you may or may not have, so....um, sorry.

Download Pokemon Essentials Server Setup Files [COMPLETE]
Download Ruby Installer

First, Install the Ruby Installer

Second, Extract the AC Web Ultimate Repack Folder to the C:/ Drive (It should be C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack)

Third, Extract Starter Kit anywhere.

Now go into C:/ AC Web Ultimate Repack Folder and Run Control Panel.exe. Click on Server, and then MySQL

You should see this Window:

...minimize it.

Now go into the Server Folder found in the Extracted Starter Kit Folder and run main.rb. It will ask you a question, press n and then Enter. Then start up the Starter kit, get some Pokemon, and go upstairs in the PC and talk to this lady.

Click on Register and enter your Info, if all goes well you should be good to go ;)

Ah.  So THATs how this works...  Would it also work for regular Netplay?  Cause I need to work on a certain MMO for a freind. . .
 
@hi122neo - Regular? Well, I'm no wiz with Netplay, because I don't care for it much, (until I, myself have to make a server that is... >.>), but I don't know the answer to your question. I'm guessing no, because Netplay 2.0 is the most current (and most current versions of things, in my experience, don't work well with previous versions of itself =P), and I'm positive Poccil modified it a bit to fit his Starter Kit, but I could be wrong.

@Atemu - Sorry, I must have missed your question (>.<). But I think for something like that, your better off PMing Poccil. Also, you can always download Paint.Net (google it) and resize the DS battlers.  Although that might take time, your choice. =P

@MexicanRifleman - Well, actually, I have absolutely no clue where HMs are implemented. I looked at Moves.Txt, and Notes.Html, but no where does it say how to make your own HM moves. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the hexadecimals in field 4 of Moves.txt, but I'm just guessing. Even so, your probably better off PMing Poccil, since he knows the ins and outs of it.

It's only a modified Netplay server with a trimmed-down protocol (details are found in the file protocol.txt in the distribution.)

Implementing new hidden machines is an advanced scripting feature.  I cannot provide detailed information on how to implement them in script.

The same applies with changing the screen size to a larger one.  It would require relatively many changes to the game system.
 
i dont know how to ask this but in the party to box storage system when i try to choose a empty slot in the party it mark an error could somebody tell me how to make that it cant choose an empty slot?

Thanks for reporting the bug.  I have fixed it.  The game was supposed to do nothing when an empty party slot is selected.
 
@Poccil - Theres another bug, when I have 2 Pokemon, a fainted one, and a healthy one. Your able to deposit your healthy one, whilst keeping just your fainted one. Then, if you go into battle, you automatically lose. It's more of a realistic bug, but a bug nonetheless.

@Admiral_Stalfos19 - Can you be more specific? There are many ways of changing moves around.

Also... theres a new version available.

More battle transitions added
Hidden move animation and fishing animation
Support for double wild battles and partner trainers
Fixed potential problem where a wild encounter can run even
if an event triggers on grass
Fixed bugs in storage system
Fixed bug where defining custom moves for a trainer causes an error
