Alright did a couple more pieces. Let's begin then!
Regent Cid: Dumb Luck in Frog's Skin
Realistically he's an alien, most frogs don't have teeth, but ultimately i felt it necessary to give him the cheeky looks he does. he also has other alien-esque characteristics like the spined crest and the weird appendages shooting out the sides of his head. Probably obvious but he's one of my more 90's characters, only reconcepted for today, so as to note look like shit. Regent_Cid was the name of my neopet on neopets before that kinda had a big cave in due to corporate paddle-pop chasing. I liked the idea of Cid as this space-faring vigilante, thief hero combo. I mean in my stories about him thats what he always was, and Kyu, the baby dragon was kind of a lot smarter and more rational than he was. Cid's always been carried through his adventures moreso by his luck than actual skill.
Ashe: Lost Purpose // Serene Rage
I've worked out a lot more about this character now, so I've been drawing more art of her where she looks genuinely livid. She'll have a small part in Fantasia.

A really top quality render of Xali. I love drawing her she is perfeftly petite and sinister.

Alrighty! So I did a new drawing or two... One contains Xali and Akra Olna, while the other contains the Kitsune Cathy.
Tearing at the Simulation from Within
This is a good view of Zen Aneia, with the Planar (glitches in reality because my whole cosmos is a simulation created by The Twins) assaulting the Capital of Zen Aneia. The Planar are commanded by Xali who is also full of glitches, due to longevity and lack of a heart, which would usually make planar corruption not effect you. Xali has purposefully absorbed glitch after glitch to power game, she can now erase, destroy, and is immune to erase and destroy due to her code being so messed up that the typical code to destroy her won't react, similar to how M.F. Lazarus is.
Kaleidoscopic Mind of Violet and Vermilion

This is Cathy, a mischievous kitsune who makes her debut in Fantasia Demo 2, and while she is often wont to pranks and light-hearted tomfoolery, when it comes down to it she will protect what she loves without question. Renae is in good hands with Cathy around, even if she does often end up as the target of Cathy's mostly harmless schemes.
Oh? Did you think I was done? Ahuhu~ Well, when I said two, I meant two complete images, this is merely a vague sketch of how the antagonist of Junked will look in her forms and such. I'm happy with the last two, Junko Saturn and Junko Prime, but the prior two need work.
Love everything about the last two, they evoke the feel that Junko is meant to, like deep down she is benevolent and just trying to help the humans reach heaven, just not realizing that some aren't so ready to give up.

Needed to break out my drawing tablet and just do some practice sketches. This was the only thing worth saving.

So yeah now I have some art worth sharing, Had a 3-week burnout, that ended abouts when I drew this first piece.
Xali: Impious Unholy Cartajuration
This image was a disaster on the lowerhalf from the get go. It's a shame too- as it was a pretty cool idea. The title's word of interest, Cartajuration, is a portmanteau of cartamancy (the art of tarot card readings) and conjuration (summoning something from nothing.) so in tandem this is Xali's weapons / list of powers, she can combine pairs of identical or differing tarot cards to make different conjured weapons of shadow energy. For instance, two XIII DEATH cards summons her typical scythe. While XVII The Star and O The Fool would make a morning star blazing with shadow magic. X Wheel of Fortune and XIV Temperance would make a spherical damage shield, stuff like that. XVI The Tower and VII The Chariot would make a shadowy bow, etc.
Renae: Incorruptible Protector
Renae with her Barrier Sword "Kaladbolg", this kind of sword can be used both as sword and as a shield due to it's size and wide blade.

There was a Livestream preview of MZ recently. I didn't watch all of it. I have to assume they were using more or less the final version of everything with the release only a week away. Seems like once again there are missing actor battlers.
I'm telling myself I can fill the holes. But I feel really tired. It's the same thing with MV. I did sketches but I never finalize them.
At least this time MZ has full body art I can reference.
It looks like one of the archers is missing. I'm thinking she's suppose to have a crossbow. There's a Crossbow weapon icon and I didn't see any other battlers with a crossbow. I have no idea how I'm going to design it though. But I think I might need 2 version aiming it in different directions for front and side view. Maybe that's why they left her out.

Boy this new concept for Satanifa or formally Sata-N is so much better than the one previous. Really goes ham on the pentagrams / satanic goddess vibes, which makes sense, as it's literally Satan the goddess.

The answer: Is because like all of the menagerie, she was a blatant fuck you to archetypes, Fatty was a Dwarven Druid, Gerald was a Goblin paladin, Spooky was an alien who didn't want to invade shit and in fact was so against it he teamed up with people he honestly didn't care much about to put a stop to his own species ways of conquest.
That was how the idea for Menagerie started, me wanting to screw over the common tropes and archetypes for characters. A Goblin who put morals above self-worth, an elegant elf girl who used guns and cared little for formal things, a dwarf who was taught a practise most commonly known by elves, and an alien who was a dick, but was on the side of the oddballs.
To get this back on the sketch thread's topic. This was going to become a full piece, but Sata-N took it out of me so it's just a draft for now.

This was actually how i initially planned to draw my avatar, with demon wings, tail and horns, so as to give my angelic appearance the devilish undertone it needs, for I am a marshmallow with occult blackdeath filling.

Drawn as the album art for track 108 of the Fantasia OST, pictured is Wi Hellrider having summoned the F of Fantasia, the final letter to bring about her desired endgame.
Also done a bunch of sketches. In spoilers otherwise this would be flood-worthy.

Oh yeah I haven't been arting a whole bunch lately so the occasional and only occasional post on this thread is starting to work in my favor!
New look, new me!
My hair is now cut in this style. Althought the piece turned out very stylized as far as anatomy goes, but it works out!
Now time for halloween stuff, all of this was drawn in response to prompts on a stream.

I don't think anything's changed. You images have always been huge print resolution. My screen width is only 1366, so something like 1400 wouldn't fit at full screen, much less a post, unless I started using my tv screen as a monitor.
Up in the corner under New Messages, is [Big - Medium - Small] which changes the site's post size. Perhaps you accidently clicked small. "Big" leaves about 42px on the side of the browser as padding. While "Small" centers posts about about 1000px, which is comfortable for reading text. I'm not sure what the actual dynamics are. But I usually leave it on Big.

My resolution is 1920x1080, only 400 or so of that is taken up by sidebars. I just took a screenshot of the page and checked the width of a post, it's 1495 pixels! The images side-by-side just above are 720 pixels each, meaning even with two together, there's enough room. Posts that worked fine before are now stupid!
It also means a 1280 pixel image should fit no problem!?
