Havent been here in a while :/

Showing a new room and the HUD (With it's respective Status Systems (Left) and Inventory (Right)...), also, the look of the main character, i haven't finished him yet D:

By The Way, for those that are wondering.. The Status System consist of the following (Superior-Left part of the screen, from up to down):

- Health
- Hunger
- Tiredness
- Radiation

The Inventory System is in real time...

The game is going to be an exploration-survival based horror game set in a post-apocalyptic future.

It looks great, except for the fact that the main character is either a vampire or has anemia. Add some more color. He is way too palid.

That's the thing... None of the characters is healthy xD... The character at the thrash pile it's not the main.. The one at the HUD screen is the character, it actually looks more healthy than others.. but still... years of radiation, pollution and bad food gotta make you change xD

In that sense, you're doing great. He surely looks malnourished. I don't know what your professional background is, but you might want to look in vitamin deficiency, kwashiorkor, and marasnus. In vitamin defficiency, look out for the following terms.

  • Hidrosoluble vitamins
    · B1 (Tiamine): Beriberi & Wernicke's encephalopathy
    · B3 (Niacine): Pellagra
    · B9 (Folic acid): Anemia
    · B12 (Cobalamine): Anemia
    Libsolouble vitamins
    · A: Night blindness
    · C: Scurvy
    · D: Rickets & Osteomalacia
    · K: Impaired coagulation

That's pretty much all you should. Read about it in Wikipedia. It'll make your game more interesting. For instance, vitamin B1 defficiency causes Wernicke Korsakoff syndrome, which makes your forget things, and start making them up.

My head got enough off that at Med School Introduction xD... But you're right, thanks for giving that to me now, because right now i'm writing the game background, so i'm going to adapt characters' look and behaviour around that info (Also, i need to read something useful in these months before starting college, or my brain is going to rot)...

The hard part will be making the disaster factor more realistic.. But i'm going to do my best!

Thank you for your suggestions... Do you have any other? (I'm really looking for feedback, but spanish-based game making communities are pretty dead and are not nearly helpful as this)

You seem like you're doing good on your own. Start a thread in the project forum. You only need a couple of screenshots and an idea. The community's great on feedback. Also, it would give us a place to chat, other than the screenshot thread, since we're definitely spamming it. Send me a private missage.

By the way, my native language is also Spanish, but English-speaking communities are way better.

I'm curious as to how you got low res fonts to work without doing that blurring thing, when i use low res pixelated fonts i find online, if the size is not just right, it does this stretched filtered thing.

Hm. The font was custom made. Then I kept adjusting the size until it worked out.

Will you have to Pay2Play?
