i meant if you had any kind of snazzy effect going on with the score but you answered that already ;D

Ah lol, yeah...

Hmm, I still need to add things to it though, I mean, I'm trying to add as much replayability to the game as I can, since it's basically just a survival defense game, at the moment all I've got is a high scores table (Although it's not over the internet anwyay, just so you can try to beat your own records, lol), 3 difficulties (Adding more asteroids onscreen with each difficulty increase), and bouncing bullets (At the moment they're the default bullet, although I'm thinking of adding powerups etc, that float around the level)
 
Yeah Devex, i know that screen with your sexy tileset. But its a newer version, few better than the old one.

I dont know if anyone knows me from deviantart, but i want to show you my new tileset too.
Its completely selfmade and the tileset itself has a color limit of 32 colors. Its my own decision trying to make a full game with this limit of colors.

Is the water animated? Also, I love the shape of those crazy jagged cliffs. This has got to be the best grassy waterside screenshot I've seen.

Screenshots like that make me wanna quit making games all together. I'll never be able to compete with that. That's how I wish my tileset would look like.
 
1. Your sprites have a sort of blocky look, and your colours are too strong. You should look for some critique and help in the pixel art board.
2. Your art looks great, with the full torso graphics. Just one thing here: Make the window graphic dark, more opaque. Right now it's all little too busy because of the background.

Keep up the good work!
 
Got a ton of screenies for you people. I'm still working on Children of Gods, you see. Here's the last dungeon of the chapter. We're nearing the end!

The Entrance area, right behind that opening as seen in the screenshots here.

The idea of this bit is to jump the gap when it's clear, when there are no falling rocks.

It begins to get a lot harder with more rocks.

The idea is to get that cart of dynamite back to the start by extending those bridges. But they dissappear after not too long, so be quick!

Eventually you find your way to an underground village populated by the Earth Elves, a primitive race of species. They don't often get visitors from the outside so are very excited by the new arrivals. They're a very happy race, constantly expanding their homes and building families.

That Village map has a few changes now. That big house in the lower left is gone and that empty space in the upper right has a new house in its place.

Here's the village expansion area. The Elves are carving new homes out of the rock, and here they've made a lovely park.

That log moves up and down because the crane's broken. Typical, innit. Just gets in your way and makes your day just a little bit worse.

This chap challenges you to a race across the mine. He doesn't magically appear at the finishing line even if he starts after you. It's a proper race.

You also have to direct a minecart of ore to a finishing point by moving the points. The red ones change, obviously.

The point of all this is to get two halves of a gong, which you hang above the village to open the mines.

When you ring that gong, this bridge here extends.

Here is where you enter teh dungeon proper. Good old dungeon puzzles and that.

You have to get past that drawbridge, by lowering it, and unlock the door beyond with two keys.

The first area is filled with these barrel lifts. You have to arrange the lifts properly so you can run through a timed door at the top.

Once you get back down, looks who's waiting for you! It's the main enemies of the dungeon, those pesky Undergibbons!
 
Looks pretty incredible. Can't wait to try out those puzzles! Just wondering, how many chapters are you planning for this game?

Funnily enough I just finished my own mine dungeon, though it's nowhere near as elaborate as yours.
