Man Mustardy85, your fogs really hurt me eyes. In your third desert screen, there shouldn't be that much plants, it's overkill.
 
Woo pseudo-particle effects! :p I'd imagine that it's not something that shows its full animation glory when contained in a screenshot, heheh. Looks very nice and clean overall, and I really like the style of the battlers. There seems to be a bit of inconsistency with the hero battlers and the hawks, though.
 
Xk8 - I like that! Is that event or script based? If so, public or private? I've always looked for something like that, but couldn't find a script that was exactly right. If its private, no worries.

It's a script. I made it specifically for my project. However, it took me about 20 minutes to make. I could make an editable version, and post it, but really, it's not so impressive. If you understand what happens in Scene_Title or Scene_Menu, this is really easy to make. As long as you know what the rgss-syntax is for transferring between maps. Anyway, you can pm or add me on msn (if you pm me blah) or I will forget it. =P I can do it in spare time, no problem.

@commenters: I'm going to put a window behind the text (semi-trans). And I made the the text a bit wider, so longer lines won't be cropped. Thanks for input.

Rondo Of Swords IS cool, but OH SO hard. It takes really strategic planning to finish a map with (hopefully) all characters intact.

@Sonata: If only I was able to draw like that. Ebenavente made them, he's the artist for my game, Fujutsu (translated as witchcraft).

@Mattastic: Yep, that's a cursor alright. I'm using Woratana's mouse system with a few modifications, so it suits my needs. There are still some minor bugs in the system though. And yeah, that selection box really IS familiar, isn't it? :grin: Well, it might change soon, with a windowskin made from scratch (or the selection box, for that matter. It's the only thing of the windowskin that shows up).

Skie, that's looking pretty nice. The only things that seem to clash are those monsters on the left (or the battlers on the right, for that matter). Are they placeholders or will they stay that way?

Xk8: That's a really sweet script! Full credit if I find a use for it! =D  And that game IS hard... I get stuck on every 2nd battle... well I did before my people got passed level 15.


So here is something from my game, some of the graphics aren't final. Keeping the floating blue beast xD he's awesome. The main character (the one with the sword) and the young shizel (blue cleric one) are NOT final. as well as the faces. The witch is onyl a test. This is only the battle testing out the zoom and HUD. I think it's looks much better now.

This guy's attack pattern isn't that bad. His reverse bubbles, on the other hand, are real pain in the butt.

The flame on left and right will moving in and out all the time, so your escape space is pretty narrow. The fact that his red bullets are always aimed toward you isn't help either :P

Yes, at first I was going to add only one extra boss. But I was carried away that I made a whole new extra stage *sigh*
