Not much to say about it hehe, there is a tree house, a cave and a gypsy encampment. Just another part of the worldmap. It's almost done, I'm trying to think of something to put in that lil corner there.

here's a couple of in game shots:

Wow Lisker. That map looks beautiful! Kudos! Maybe put some cliffs in the southwest area?

I thought about that but there will be mostly cliffs on the map to the left of this one as that is where the ocean starts.
I'll just put trees there until I think of something.

You need to add a shadow on the right side of the curved cliffs, if you want it to look better. Even in Photoshop, all you have to do is Hue/saturation (Ctrl+U) and pull the Lightnees tab down to -10 or -30.

If you look closely you'll see I didn't add the highlight to the right side of the cliffs. I think this vouches for that, but maybe not?

Lisker:
Very nice. That forest kind of reminds of one from Breath of Fire 2.

Kaze:
I'd suggest using GIMP or something and mapping out the trees then just add them to the tileset. It slightly more work, but it yields better results.

Cray:
I have to go with the crowd on the clouds. The tile set isn't half bad either, but the background on that menu is ugly.

Noobo:
The edits you did aren't that significant. To be honest, you can hardly tell the difference.

Wyatt:
Release it already, so you can take my monies.

I like that menu o.o. it's clean and efficient. I like the window skin too but that is mostly personal preference. XP

I updated my above post with the latest version now. This is the last update on it, as it's mostly done now. I'll update the worldmap with it next =P.

@nosferatu:
Simple and clean, not much else to comment on. That Open arrow reminds me of Flash games, and I keep wanting to click it. :p

@numbnuts:
That's a pretty effective layout, I like it. What's that number at the bottom?

~~~
Trying to code a built-in transformation system for battle system, testing out layout and the like:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/ ... System.jpg[/img]
(Functioning: Press Z and the window pops up, press Z after that to move the cursor rightwards, X to confirm selection, C to cancel transformation window.)
Reives, that screen made my heart skip a beat. That's how awesome the concept is.
Over-exaggerations aside, I really like the idea of switching between animal forms. It'll add some much needed variation to the combat. Though, it might make players favor using Lunair more, don't you think? Unless... Dun dun dun!
Oh, and what, may I ask, is the timer(?), at the top-right, for? I'm assuming you have to make your selection within a few seconds? If so, then it sounds like a good way to keep up the pace of the battles.
@Numbnuts
I can't say why, but that screen looks very familiar.
Is the background animated? Those clouds might look a tad boring if not.
And what is the point of having it show your party members(in the bottom-right), when you can see by just their portraits? It seems rather unneeded. As if it's just there to be filler.
Looks okay otherwise, though.
The timer at the top is actually just the sprint timer. :p My bad.
And I wouldn't mind if the player favour Lunair more with that; Reivier was way more useful than Lunair up 'till now for the most part. It'll still be situational though, animal forms do not have projectile attacks, which makes Reivier still handy in some situations. (Will post a more detailed description of the system on the project thread in the near future.)
The selection is actually made as the battle still goes on. D: I'm hoping that the key strokes will be convenient enough that it will only take a second or two to press Z a couple of times then X.
@Atemu
Thank you lol
The faces are not going to be that size, those are just temporary faces. The extra room on the bottom is so that it can be used fro the portrait of an NPC that joins the party.
@Reives
Thank you lol
The numbers on the bottom left is the parties gil amount and the numbers on the right is the amount of steps taken. I just need to label them lol
And I like your screen. It looks pretty damn sweat and I'm a big fan of the animal faces. lol
@Luminier
The menu looks familiar because I technically posted it before, but this one was rescripted and photoshopped from scratch so that it looks better and works better. The clouds will be animated and the sprites on the bottom right are going to walk inplace and there is no real point to them except to add a little something to where the step counter is. It's the least looked at part of the menu so I figured I would add some eye candy to that area. lol
Yep. I've definitely seen it before. I suppose your project has been around for a while, now hasn't it?  ;)
I didn't even realize that it was the step counter in the corner, there. Seeing as how the count is four, I thought it was telling how many party members were with you at the moment. :x
It'll make the boring-as-month-old-grapes step counter, well, less-so.
