Yep. I've definitely seen it before. I suppose your project has been around for a while, now hasn't it?  ;)

I didn't even realize that it was the step counter in the corner, there. Seeing as how the count is four, I thought it was telling how many party members were with you at the moment. :x

It'll make the boring-as-month-old-grapes step counter, well, less-so.

haha yea I lost the license for RMPX and didn't get to work on my game for months. Then when I tried to do more with the game, my poor organizing and of the script came back to bite me in the ass cuz I was lost. So I started all over again lol

I didn't think one of the kingdoms in my game, Green Forest, was... foresty enough. So, i decided to do a small expansion to the South. I got greatly carried away, and was left with below. Note that Green Forest itself extends further East than in these screenies, I just couldn't be arsed to scroll and print screen them bits.

Click the link, it's too big:
(The new map begins where it says "Bordeur Mountains")

I did a screenie of it along with part of the rest of the world, to show it in perspective. Note that many huge maps are missing from here - there's a 100x100 North of Golda'ea, a 150x150 West of Golda'ea, a 200x200 North of Aramidia, a 100x100 East of Aramidia, etc.

Reives: That transformation screen is awesome :D
So is it going to kind of be like Altered beast? (great game)

Wyatt: How long did it take you to make that map? Are you going to be putting little details like rocks and weeds in there too?

Alrighty, I'm in a freaking mapping frenzy and I did 4 more maps for the worldmap that makes up the north west of klendathu Kingdom: Check it out  !!Clickedy click!!

*edit* it seems I made a small mistake which I corrected. ^^;;

About half an hour. I've still got to add details and everything, at the moment all there is really is the trees, grass, and cliffs.

Lisker, those maps are gigantic, are you sure they don't lag?

They're fused together with an image-editing program. ^_^ Right?

Lisker, I'm definitely loving those shear cliffs on the western coast.

I'm so jealous of your mapping abilities, as well as your drive to actually make them, at a fairly consistent rate. Kudos.

@Erichermit: They are pasted together. I made sure maps do not lag. I try to keep my tilesets as small as possible, and to put as little events on the maps as possible.

The image you see is made up of about 13-14 maps total. most maps do not get bigger then 100*100 so it's ok with the lagging issues.

@Luminier: Correct lol. And thanks, I made them clifs because a few maps north will be the mountain range, I have tons of ideas about mapping a hugeass mountain too so once I get going it's hard to stop hahaha.

@BrunoTR: It's not too hard really. Besides, one of the reasons I'm slapping them together like that is for a worldmap/area-map items. There is quite a few markers near the various roads as well. Unless you have the directional sense of a 3yo it should be pretty easy to get around. ^.^;

There's still plenty of fauna around, though, right? I don't think I could manage without plentiful birds, squirrels, and such.

Uh, oh. Bad for me. :x

Well there is about 30-50 monsters on a map, combine that with like birds, animals and other npc's that will be like a min of 70 events like 120 tops.

lol ^_~.

@Lisker: I suppose you're right actually. If you know where the rough location of landmarks are, then you'll be fine. I tried findinging my way from the North-east bit of cliff to the village. Missed it and got to the mine. Since I knew the mine was East of of the town, I knew i'd gone too far.

It's really amazing to see how much your map has grown. There must be a lot of sidequests for a map that size to fill it, i guess.

@Nortos: The roses look just all over the place to me, it's blocking the windo? Also, that curved part of the house (near the barrels) doesn't have the same wall texture as the house itself. Not bad overall.

@Brandon: Dang the houses are small, like about 2 tiles thick. I think it would be pretty hard for someone to live in something like that, consider changing it.

oh yeah forgot about the window hanging ty for that, oh and roses sort of fit in game cos it's a clan and they are nature pple not technology u know what I meant, and yeah I fixed the flower bug
