Lisker. I like your idea of not using a world map. that's what i was thinking of doing. i think the mapping is great for that idea and gives you some room to roam around instead of point A to point B. good job.

I herby dub thy screen "too damn dark!" But that is a nice looking menu you have there. But I believe I've seen it before somewhere...like wyatt did it or something like that. And like the advertisement ;) good job there. Partially because you can't see the tileset. :p But still not bad. I just for one hate the freaking standard icons and the look of the HP and SP bars.
 
Its meant to be dark, thats what a day/night script does.
And as for seeing the script, I made it yonks ago and posted it up, but it was a fairly buggy so I decided to remake it.

Are the bars really that bad?
 
I don't think there is anything wrong with the bars really, just they don't really fit in well with the window skin. Either that or you should try making the red and green less bright.

Nice menu though, looks great.



Here is a big map and lotsa screens. It's the Capital of one of my main fractions in my game. It's pretty big, but I think I succeeded fairly well. It's still WIP though, but here are some screens, and a total view:

That was the whole map, and this is what it looks in game. (I put the wrong fog on in the first view so it seems like the sin is shining on the other side.)


=P Hope to be putting that one in my next Demo.
 
At first: I like the Waterplay?s or what it calls in English.
The Maps are nice but the Outsidemaps needs a bit more
on textures on the Ground, like flowers and so on...

In the Last Screen there are lots of Mapping mistakes,
for example the Trees got many proritybugs.

And the Bridge is wrong as well...

Can you tell me where you got the Watertexture for the City?

Note: I realize the mapping is somewhat barren, but I just wanted some feedback on the stairs. They were made by Zanyzora.

1. The stairs were made by Zanyzora and the tileset was made by Inquisitor. Now, I edited the Zanyzora stairs a bit. Do you think they go well with the rest of the tileset?

2. I was messing around on how to place side view stairs. Do you think they are placed correctly? Does it look good where they are placed?

As for the mapping mistakes, those are not mapping causes, they are all because I haven't set the priorites for all of the tileset cuz it's pretty big. I quit like halfway last night cuz I had to get up early for work. Might finish it later.

**edit*** wait I think I know what you mean about the bridge, this what you meant?

As for the water texture, what one are you talking about?
 
Lirker, that capital looks awesome!
Kaze, that stairs perfectly goes with the tileset. I think they are set up right, but thats my oppinion.
