He did, and the screen looks ten times worse than it did before. Anime scenes mixed with hand drawn images do not mix. It just looks cluttered, and simply ugly.

And he never answered Raven's question either.
 
@Malick: I'm just kinda curious what a kind of game that is. I mean, there's someone dying in a guy's arms, but the title is "First Kiss" :S

@Bruno: Those are some good screens don't get me wrong. Its just the paths seem really really empty. I mean you have lots and lots of trees. But other than that there isn't much growth on the grown. But not bad screens at all for the most part. Just not Ace. So add so vegies to the ground and all should be good. Or maybe some more height variations in different places would also help you out :)

Height Variations... Never thought of that. Thanks, Makasu.
 
To see how INQ's tree autotile works, go to the RPG Palace download, and click on "Full Preview". It shows how each aspect of the tileset should work. You've pretty much got the idea already though, apart from a missing bit over on the left.

Malick, that screen is WAY TOO BUSY. Go back to the simple one you had before, that one was the best. Funny how it started out one of the best, and you kept adding to it, and making it worse and worse with everything you add. So, think ahead and stop.

Kaze, I actually like how it looks, though the straight line of trees will always bother me. Maybe you should have some long grass variations and some dirt around?

Yes I did ask Syberfox she was happy to let me use it and I'm naming the chapters based on the titles of the episodes. First Kiss just happens to be the title of episode 1.

Awesome Bro

Simple is always key. Especially when it comes to the first thing people see in your game. Keep the sketch but lose the anime scene, I'd say. Looks great! :)
 
It took me a moment to realize what the hell was going on in that screenshot. Instead of shading the water, attach shading to the bits of walkway, so they can be pointing in the same direction as the rest of the shadows. It makes more sense, and doesn't look like a strange water experiment gone wrong. Also, you can easily have the waterfall shaded as well, as the ground clearly goes over that too.
 
hmm I get what you are trying to do..It still seems a little off. Perhaps if there were also shadows near the platform and walkways near the waterfall?

I know this isn't what you asked, but, There's a problem with what I'm seeing. I see an outline of the bridge looking thing. If I see it correctly, but is that arc in the bridge sopposed to be there? Is it like some kind of support arc for the platform or is it just there? I ask this because It looks like platforms are too small to have an arc like that unless the arc had a pole or something coming from the bottom...
 
Is that completely custom made Twin? I really like the colors.....

SO a little tiny update on my WIP earth shrine-ish tileset. I just jumbled something together to show off newly sprited things like the shrine keepers and the torches and stuff. Still working on it though, ideas welcomed! Again, ignore the mapping I just threw this to show the new sprited stuff. Thanks
