Di, not DI. Nevermind about that though =x

The background's used too, you can get to the outlook from what you see in the panorama. It's the actual Sandwalker's Refuge, or part of it at least.

Only problem is that if you look closely, none of the houses have doors...

Oh well ;)

The answer to that problem is easy...shes too far up to see the doors!

I would blur the picture a bit in photoshop to make it look more like its really high up.

@Rieves: haha, I thought about that a long time too, I wanted it to do that with more then just pictures so I added it with some sound effects some times.

With the fireplace one you hear the fireplace too:

I know I noticed it was spelled wrong, rofl, I just noticed it myself. Already fixed!!

Don't mind the hideous window skin, I'm changing it back to my first edit.

I thought about this, but why can she see the windows then? =x

I already smudged/blurred some stuff, but if I stopped being so lazy I'd manually add resized doors to the panorama. I really can't be bothered to do that, plus when you go there during the day there would have to be a bunch of people moving, and although possible, that's waaaaaay too much work for little lazy me. ;)

Oh and... nice detail there with the frames, Lisker. :)

I've been working more on the chipset, it's a lot harder than doing a regular chipset, because you have to always check if things are going to fit or not...
anyway, a regular house:

and my first interior, I still need to do lots of stuff, but at least it's the bare minimum.

I hope you guys like them, I've been working most of the day in it >_<
I already desaturated the inner plant a bit so it doesn't stand out that much...

Did you really make those from scratch? If so thats some damn fine spriting. The best I've ever seen. But I think that those are ripped. I don't know though. Either way good screens!

Eh? I don't know if I should feel flattered of offended XD
I really did those from scratch, I used breath of fire 3 as inspiration for the tileset, but I didn't ripped it from there (considering it's a 3d game so it's not really possible I guess)
the hero though isn't original, I ripped if from breath of fire 4, but it's just temporary till I decide how will the hero look like.

Craybeast: Those screenshots are wonderful. As a fan of Breath of Fire 4, I find them particularly awe-inspiring. Do you have an Isometric movement script already?

I'm glad there are mor breath of fire fans around the site :D
thanx for the comments, and yeah, the movement is almost finished, I used the pixelmovement script, but left it only to move in 4 directions (the 4 isometric ones) so when you press north, your character moves to the upper right, maybe it seems weird when you read it, but it's easy to get used to it.
Badmonur: What do you mean by "bloom" effect?

@Lisker: *twitch* That is almost exactly the same idea as my game.

Okay, I need some help with the forest outside the starting village in my game.
Here is the full map.http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f359/ ... tenzo1.png[/IMG]
What do you think? Here are some in-game screens.

Up by the ruins.

Cray,

Excellent job! Those tiles are very well done. I love the Breath of Fire series as well. Are you not going to be using any of the sprites from any of the BoF titles? I think it would make sense if it is a fan game - if it's commercial, then that makes sense.

Lisker,

I couldn't tell what was going on in your first screen shot, because the characters in the photo are the same size as the character in the room. You might consider enlarging the photograph to make it stand out better.

I tried doing that, but it came out all weird and ugly looking, so I left it at that.
I'll see what I can do with the enlargement later, I guess I don't see it because I already know what it's supposed to be hahaha.

I won't be using the breath of fire sprites, it's not really a fangame, it's an original game, it looks similar to breath of fire games though, but in 2d.
thanx for the comments :D

You're using f0tz!'s pixelmovement? Nice. I can't wait to see it.. You really need to start finishing the stuff you work on though. What happened to that small abs mini-game?

haha I know, I always start new projects, and never finish my old ones, so far I have 3 important projects I have to finish before i start this one, So I went back and I'm trying to finish them XD.
That doesn't mean I can't work on more graphics for this one though...
The small ABS game I had, i somewhat on the middle, I'm currently working on level4 (from a total of 8) so, I won't take too long before I finish it.
