A WIP for a mini game. RTP sprites are just place holders until I make the actual game piece sprites. Puddling around in events after making the game board---it's pretty much done. n.n

I don't see any reason why Malick or anyone else should be arguing. Malick you asked for critique and you got it (After the first post being un-called for). So take it on the chin and drop it. Otherwise, don't ask (And why do people insist on having the last laugh in here?)

I think it looks great! Maybe edit the diagonal joint of the triangular roofs so that it blends a little better. The joints on real houses are usually the same colour so that the joining isn't obvious.

Its much better, but you lose some perception because the back and fronts of the houses are two different heights. Try making them the same tile height and it'll look much better ^^;.

If there is a stairway to go to the door then on the left and right you shouldn't show the bottom of the walls on the upper parts.

Just started a new test game, trying new graphics at the moment, If I don't find it too hard to make graphics like this, I'll definitely make a game, because I like how it looks.

If I decide to make it, it's going to be an isometric game, very much like breath of fire. I haven't planned much more than that so far.

Craybest: That's awesome... those graphics are pretty well made, and it sorta gives off a SNES feel. Which is a good thing in my book. Though the roots of the tree there look a little strange to me. Mostly because most trees have their roots spread out a little more before going underground. Though other than that, what you've got looks brilliant.

thanx! I just edited the roots now, and added some grass in them too.
I'll repost it when I have something more to show other than the new roots =)

Nah you should just stop and leave it as it is. Make the middle left area the new game etc area using ccoas 3 image title screen script. Title screens for rpgs work for me by either being Grand (like tales of symphonia) or simplistic like most PS1 Final Fantasies.
