it really felt like they were trying to cover too much material in not enough time, and extended the wrong scenes.
and what was with those animated postcard transitions?
like ok if you want to do campy/silly shit then run with it, or atleast incorporate the element somewhere else so it makes sense.

the alierm scenes reminded me of Coneheads w/o the cones though 
the stadium-style seating, the teeth, the paleness, the way they conversed amongst themselves, the rather monotone style of speech ... i couldn't help but lol ;x
also wouldn't you just get ... so incredibored after like a month or so with THAT kind of power??
also how the hell did murdoch get that kind of power control so fast
that could even topple the combined hivemind powers of all of the aliens at once who have trained easily 100-400 years apiece

on the other hand, saw resident evil, saw 3d, devil, and let me in
resident evil has horrible writing and directing. it was constantly trying to make thrills and was like ugh, get some pacing shit man. special effects failed at points (was it not that obvious that a person spinning in mid air ain't the most realistic thing), failed to involve zombies in anyway, bad guy appears like 5 times over, cheap dialogue, and a ending that was made simply to add another movie and make cash. GODDAMN the whole point of a zombie apocalyse is to survive, AND THEY SURVIVED why did you have to extend it!?!?!?
saw 3d was my first time seeing a saw film
color me intrigued. i liked it, i was so engrossed, i loved the gore. might have seemed overdone with blood, might not have at points, but it was so interesting seeing all the gore and shit. the fact that there was no resolution to the story sorta sucks anus
devil had an m night shamalyan structure, but it was, in truth, surprisingly entertaining, at least in the theaters. no real reason to watch it again, but huh. a lot better than i expected for a movie involving shamyalan (my expections for him were dashed in TLA)
