That film would be so full of win it's unreal...
Anyways, last night I watched Get Him To The Greek... not what I was expecting, I mean, it was good, but bad at the same time, Russell Brand, as much as I despise him as a person, was pretty good in it, and Jonah Hill is a given, I love him in all his roles. I'd recommend seeing it actually, but download or stream it, it wouldn't be worth the purchase.

So last night I watched Resident Evil: Afterlife, not in cinemas since no one would go with me...
Okay where to start...
The first three films were great, had a lot of action in them. This one... pretty much none.

For the first hour pretty much NOTHING happened, infact, within this first hour, FOUR zombies are killed, maybe five... and then within the last half hour a big zombie with an axe comes out of nowhere, a fuck ton of zombies break in, they somehow make it onto a big ship with no one on it, then find out there's 2000 people trapped inside, then Wesker appears in a James Bond "I've been expecting you" sort of way, and is killed in a matter of two minutes, with little to no effort, just shoot him in the face and keep shooting him as he's down... great. Then it turns out, IT WAS A CLONE ZOMGOMGNOWAY, and as he's flying away he presses a detonator but the bomb is on his plane so he blows up... and then guess what... lots of Umbrella planes come flying towards this big ship...
Seriously, I loved the first three films, this was just... boring, there was no action and the parts where there was some form of action sequences, ended really quickly or were just there for fillers or something...
Hopefully the next film will redeem itself, because this did seem like it was setting up for a new film, especially considering the ending, and how Alice has no powers now, lol...

not a very good movie.
loved the actors ... director was bad. something was bad. it couldn't figure out if it wanted to be an action movie or a kid's movie or a comedy.
it turned out to be basically spy kids except spy grampas instead.

So I watched The Social Network today!
It was every bit what I expected. Jesse Eisenburg does a fantastic job of portraying a genius sociopath, the kind of guy that's a total asshole but you have to respect him at the same time, you know? All the actors gave solid performances, although it was a little unnerving to see London Tipton take off her clothes and make out.
It was a little confusing at parts but overall it was an incredibly engrossing, overwhelming experience. Refined to brilliance and extremely well done. Can't recommend this movie enough. It's very little "lol Facebook" and a whole lot of "wow these are really interesting people leading really interesing lives". Watch it.

the beginning scene is pretty great. they make a point out of really fucking around with 3D in particular.Jbrist":2p4i5832 said:

a few of the scenes were like "... really? that made it into the movie huh :/" and knoxville is super starting to show his age but it was certainly entertaining to see them get the fucking shit kicked out of them

I agree... I'd also add Life of Brian to that too, both these films... are just amazing normally, but are so wackily (Is that a word?) fucked up when you're high that oh my god... there are no words in the english dictionary...
