Howl's Moving Castle is probably my second favorite movie of his. Calcifer was awesome. :)

I'm wanting to say I tried to watch Castle in the Sky and it took a reeaally long time to get started? I don't really remember anything about it.

i think castle in the sky is my favourite ghibli movie tbh, although princess mononoke and spirited away are close seconds. i don't really know what i love about the movie so much but something about the feel and tone it carries throughout the whole film really attracts me. it's just a good old-fashioned adventure with some incredible visuals and ideas. castle in the sky just really resonates with me, i guess v  v

OH okay a quick google tells me that was Nausicaa. In my opinion it was probably his weakest, which isn't saying a lot because it's still absolutely fantastic.

Spirited away is probably my 2nd favorite followed by Princess Mononoke. not sure if i ever got around to watching nausicaa though,

Actually I think Ponyo was Miyazaki's worst. I watched it with the Mrs. because we thought it might've been fun, but yeaaah . . . . it was "okay". Spirited Away is a great, I agree.

Aw, that's a shame. I haven't got around to seeing it yet.

Spirited Away is definitely my favorite. Maybe because it was my first Miyazaki movie, but it completely blew my 9(or maybe 10?w/e) year old mind.
