Sorry; that's one of the other cons with having an incomplete CMS-- you can't use healing items right now. The feature should be completed for the next release. I hope you can cope with the battles for now; it shouldn't be too difficult, as I've added healing items toward the end of each dungeon.

I updated the main thread (merged the Features and Screenshots section); be sure to check it out.
I think theres a way to switch through items if you press the W and Q(or e, i forgot) key.(im not exactly sure though, im recalling from the standard xas demo)
Hmm, I haven't encountered that bug before. Do you have any idea how or when it happened? Was it right after an attack, on it's way to another stalagmite, etc.?
I think it happened right after I attacked it, then when it was flying to another stalagmite it became stuck.
But it's only seemed to happen once. And it was easily fixed just by hitting the enter key.
I'm stuck in the second room in the very beginning of your demo, with the table that is tilted to the side blocking the way out to the left... The clue keeps telling me to focus on the direction YOU are facing (up) so I thought maybe I could... jump out a window? Nah...
Seems like a lot of people can't figure out the "puzzle" in that room. Should I make it simpler?
Just look at Mesh90's hint, anyway, if you're having trouble. It shouldn't be too hard after you've read it.
@Saynosin: do you mean the lighting in the caves? That was a mixture of cosmetic fogs (take a look at Calibre's tutorial) and a yellow glow picture set on Add for the lantern.
Hi I just finished "A blurred line" again, and decided to try out some newer Rpg maker games. Thus I decided to try yours
It's been pretty good so far but I am at a loss of how to beat a certain boss.
After the part where the bat steals your dynamite and after you pass all of the bats crossing the boards, I am having trouble completing the fight with the bat. One would guess that you need to hit it with the pick axe like any other bat, but no matter how many times I swing at it with the pick axe it doesn't seem to make any effect. I've probably swung at it at least 20 times before my death. What am I missing here?
Glad you asked this question, TamaThps. Here's a helpful hint for those having trouble with the boss.
Try a different tactic. Rather than swinging at the bat, try and look for something else on the ground that may help. Pay attention to the bat's movement, and where it perches before attacking. Good luck!
Just a suggestion first. That scene after where you gather the wood, and the big tree is chasing you is entirely way to hard. It took me about 20 times to beat it, only to find a boss fight I had no idea what I was doing and got owned lol. Even after I was able to outrun the tree, it took me a few more times of full completion (hard enough) to figure where on the shore i need to land this log. The only reason I was able to beat that part is because I have the whole thing memorized, it's impossible on first try. You should probably have it auto save before the actual tree fight, because I'm sure it will take me at least 5 tries to beat it again to get to the actual fight.
Although maybe I'm just a noob. lol
So to save myself from giving up, a hint on how to damage the tree boss? I'm sure its something thinking out of the box, but by the time I have enough time to come up with a plan or guess as to what I can attack him with, I've already been killed by those birds. The axe attack bounces off him, I assume that's no damage.
And I don't mean to bash your game or anything, it's just that part is to hard IMO
Someone else has complained the river minigame was too difficult. I'll make the monster a little slower. As for the actual boss battle, the enemy has one weakness-- it's back. How you'll be able to get around to it and hurt it is up to you to figure out. I should probably make that a little more obvious.
I'll reupload an easier version in a second, since people are having trouble.
